So with nearly £6 p&p that's £386,760 just in postage. Not bad QVC!! Maybe less if people have been buying more than one.

Wow. I tried to work out how much QVC made last year with their Elemis TSV. The mind boggles. It's amazing. I wonder how much QVC actually pay per unit compared to how much they sell it on at.

Not for me as the new formular breaks me out in spots.

It's is odd - the old formulation used to bring me out in spots, but the new one doesn't.

I first started using c&p when I was 13. I used it for a few years & then my Mum changed me to a different brand because it was bringing me out in spots (changing stopped that straight away). I then didn't use it for years but in the last couple of years I have slowly introduced it back into my regime and I am really enjoying using it when I do.

Tell me, even if you are a diehard LE fan are you not sick of the never ending TSV demos by now?

I don't watch much QVC these days but I have had it on today as I wanted to see demos of the products from the TSV. It does get a little boring, but there is new, tiny bits of information added each time.

Craig said at 12.45 that half the stock gone ,i wonder how much stock they have ,the liz earle xmas tsv must be one of qvc biggest xmas sellers

I honestly think that in 2 or 3 years, the LE Christmas TSV will overtake the Elemis one as the years biggest seller.

The sales seem to go up every year for LE, but Elemis tends to stay the same at around 100,000 units.

I must admit I caved in and bought this just before midnight, managed to hold on all day and then decided I could not resist, I wonder how much stock they had left.
I know we have said on here about how much postage this amounts to with over 60,000 being sold but how much do you think it does actually cost Q to send a set out? I just wondered what deal they actually get.
I can imagine Keeley going all out to sell more of the Elemis set

I think it was a couple of years ago we discussed that a Hermes courier gets under 50 pence per delivery.

Oh thanks Marina, blimey that isn't much is it, I know Q must have a good deal with Hermes given the amount of deliveries they must put their way but surely they have to pay more than that to send each item out, I know the packaging and labels have to be taken its consideration but that is still a low amount, I must be very naive in thinking that Q spend more on postage to us than they clearly do,

The likes of QVC negotiate deals with delivery companies and pay much much less per delivery than you or I would. QVC will have a contract with Hermes and Q will pay a yearly lump sum which gives Hermes a much needed large cash injection but it also means QVC are having many thousands of deliveries fulfilled for a cheap price per delivery.
One of my sons works for UPS and they do much the same, as do most delivery companies and they`re all trying to undercut each other in order to get the large contracts.
For example where we`d pay £4.95 for a delivery, it would cost one of their contract companies much less. The more QVC sells then the less per delivery it costs them so something such as this LE tsv which has sold in thousands will work out costing them a pittance for delivery.

For those of you who didn't cave it, just spotted that the Liz Earle offers changed today...
So the skin care essentials kit is £45 and includes 200ml c&p, IBST 200ml and skin repair 50ml, now comes with a free 200ml Super Skin cream, worth £33 apparently. Plus you still get 150ml eyebright free because you've spent over £25.

Oh and free delivery :)

I read in the Guardian last week, Hermes are going to be challenged on their payments to couriers. So they are likely to be a debate in parliament and perhaps in the courts. JD Sport got pulled up rightly so and now Hermes will face the same.

I heard Caroline say that Liz will be back in November for their mini series.

Probably do one show and that's it.

Yes, one of my husband's clients (a small business) use Hermes, and they charge them peanuts. With an account of QVC's size I should think it would work out at pennies per parcel. They are making an absolute killing on the postage.

I managed to nip into Boots and look at the overnight mask. I hated the smell, it smells like the geraniums my granny used to grow in pots. I am weird if I dislike the smell I refuse to use a product.

some of the liz earle items are not to my liking smell wise. the alternative to the orange blossom body wash is too strong in a not very nice way.

Oh the Liz Earle bodywash made me itch like mad but there again so do the SBC ones and yet I used to buy LE skincare before they fiddled with the ingredients and never had a problem with it.
