OH's the same, he can't stand tea, but drinks coffee until the cows come home. I really have to fancy coffee although on work mornings I do have coffee as opposed to tea a.) to wake me up and b.) I associate a cup of tea with relaxation and I need to sit back and enjoy it. If I go out for coffee I actually always order tea, cause I find coffee shop coffee a bit strong and it can make me feel a bit nauseous. OH makes a really good cup of tea even though he doesn't drink it himself and I'm not the only one who's said that. His old work mates used to nominate him to make the tea 'cause he always made a nice one!
I have one cappuccino a day and water the rest of the time, especially first thing. I am partial to a g&t on the weekend though..🍸🍸

My
Lapsang Souchong tastes to me like hot water with a piece of smoked bacon steeped in it! Some people love it, though. I like Yorkshire Tea. I buy it from Amazon, served with a splash of full fat milk and no sugar - - definitely no lemon slice, and my cuppa has to be hot, or I can't drink it. And, I must drink it from a bone China cup and saucer. Never, never will I drink tea from a mug. It just doesn't taste right in a mug. I use boiling water, in spite of what Gail, the Ninja woman, says about the contraption she sells for heating water to different temperatures for certain hot drinks. Tepid tea is horrible. I have an early morning cup and then one or two cups in the afternoon. Drinking decent tea is an important part of my life.
Hubby likes Earl Grey tea in a china cup but he has a small china mug from an old tea service that he has green rea and peppermint tea in

Seriously though does anyone like the taste of green tea? I think I took one mouthful and spat it straight out or is it something people are prepared to choke down because of the health benefits? At least the spoonful of cod liver oil us kids had to suffer was over and done with quick!

I've only had lemon flavoured green tea which just tastes of lemon. I've been told that green tea is "an acquired taste"!
