Tried green tea once. And just the once, bloomin’ horrible.
Only two of us living here, so tea only ever made in a mug.
Teabag in, stick it under the Breville one cup dispenser thingy. Leave a minute or so, good stir and squeeze teabag. A splash of skimmed milk. Job done.
To me, tea made with whole milk is undrinkable. Semi skimmed is just about acceptable.
Over Christmas, I was at my sisters house and she asked if I wanted a cup of tea, my reply was “yes please” promptly followed by “no, forget that, you’ll only have shi**y milk”.
She’s a Vegan and and frankly plant milks are the work of the devil and should be nowhere near a cup of tea.
She did reassure me that she did have semi skimmed milk as her husband is a diehard carnivore, so disaster was averted.
I’m quite partial to some fruit teas, but tend to go through phases with them. I did once hand a blackcurrant teabag to another sister, who then presented me with the resultant mess she’d made by adding milk!
