I really like the TSV too. Sadly im in Northern Ireland and they only deliver to the mainland or there would be a red one with my name on it!

From a distance the flowers look ok but they don't stand close scrutiny. They have teeny tiny little threads hanging off the petals sometimes. Yes they would be OK for restaurant tables or hotel bedrooms but they are just too expensive as far as I am concerned.

I have no idea why they chose the name Peony Flowers either. I mean, it's like calling your company Artichoke Vegetables or Monkey Nuts. It's giving the impression that you specialise in peonies.

As for phalaenopsis, why can't she just say orchid?

Have to agree there, even with the camera at a distance you can spot threads hanging from the (selvedge ?) edge of the petals.

Have to agree about the New CID person- separated at birth or what???!!! That's also a weird name for a cosmetic line- always makes me think of the police!

No Craig, you are not 'notradamus'. Mystic Meg is more in line with your intellect

From mobile, please excuse any silly errors!! :)

Like 'em that much do you Julius?

The two purchases I've made so far have definitely not had any hanging threads or anything, otherwise they'd have gone back, I've had freesia and peonies, and both absolutely beautiful, I hope I shall be as pleased with the TSV when it arrives.

GG - I think she says phalaenopsis because she can..! Like AY when melatogenine first came out, you got sick of hearing it!

The first peony flowers arrangement I bought last year was awful - a sunflower with some other bits and bobs in a glass square vase / base. It was terrible. Ok, it was cheap but it was tat. My second foray into peony was a white orchid arrangement, very similar to the TSV but in a glass cylindrical vase and it is lovely - so nice I bought another. Must say, both orchids, even though the same colour, are slightly different which I like because it gives some individuality.

A few weeks ago, I bought an arrangement with cream roses and a free fragrance spray - just awful and so disappointed but the spray was very nice. Back it went, couldn't justify keeping it for the spray. I think it is a bit hit and miss with some of the arrangements as reflected in the reviews on QVC.

I'm sure though that if you bought the TSV you will be as delighted with it as I am with my orchids from Peony. I dithered about buying the TSV in pink or purple but decided not to as I have my 2 lovely white ones ( and regret not buying the TSV now).

I've been rather regretting not getting the red AND the white TSV dolly! Perhaps you're right and it's a bit hit'n'miss, but certainly so far no complaints from me...I shall come back on and tell you all if I'm not happy with it when it arrives anyway.

I'm gonna leave my melatogenine by my phalaenopsis flahrs and make a pancake in my pan with phenolic handles and scent my room with Yankee candles then go to the gym and keep off my love handles!

Despite me ordering at around 10am yesterday....its still showing as in process

I hate that so much, when we pay so much on top for P&P

might as well rub that melatogenine on your love handles Julius if you're going to eat pancakes!

Just checked mine rainbowdottie - "in process"!

Has anyone received the TSV yet? Mine's STILL showing "in process" and I ordered around 8.15 on 25/7 - what ARE they ****** playing at!

The Peony flowers orders that I have made have always taken longer to be processed and delivered, sometimes taking up to 10 days before I have received them.

When I queried with QVC CS a year ago why my Peony flowers order was taking so long and they said orders come direct from Peony and not from QVC warehouse and to allow 10 days for the order. I think it took longer than that.

I did actually phone QVC yesterday evening as I was really miffed that my order was showing still in process.

You peeps are exactly right..............its because the flowers....sorry flarhs...come direct from Peony and "thats why we say 5-7 days delivery on Peony and not our normal 3-5 - but they should be here this week"

They bl00dy want to be at nearly 6 squids delivery.I'm well cheesed off it takes this long.....how comes P&P is even more expensive ...but takes longer????

Not impressed Peony...I know if you order anything from t'internet it takes to come....but orders with QVC cost so much more and take so long, that I've gone off the idea before the bl00dy things come
