why does he have hair like orange candy floss?
why does he have hair like orange candy floss?
Never mind Shredded Wheat Kingsley - what about Miss Allykins? Her hair looked really bad this afternoon, as though it needed a really good wash, cut and blowdry - considering she was doing a haircare hour you would have thought she might have made the effort. She kept brushing it through the whole time she was on air and it still looked raggedy.
I just get very cross that she's supposed to be the resident beauty expert with twelvety bajillion years experience - but she seems to wander on set like she's just been at the local WI Bring and Buy...
I've never heard anyone on QVC explain (in terms I understand) why the Elasticiser is used as a pre-treatment, before shampooing! I kept forgetting this stage so now I'm just using it as a conditioner after shampooing. The results seem the same whether I apply it before or after, but surely using it before shampooing means that it's being washed away; and it's a faffy extra stage imho.
Can anyone explain why the pre-treatment approach is recommended?

Good question! Now you've asked, I wanna know...
Got this off the PK website:

Why is Elasticizer Pre-Shampoo? Simply, the ingredients that are used to carry the treatment into the hair cuticle need to be shampooed off otherwise the hair would be lank, sticky and without shine. Therefore using a pre-shampoo treatment prevents the heavy build-up that is often encountered with intensive conditioners.
Thanks for this! I have found the pre-shampoo thing so easy to forget that I have a huge tub of the stuff that has hardly been used! I am going to use it as a mid-shampoo treatment, I think as hopefully this will allow the product to be washed off but allow me to actually use the product (I hope!!!)
