i agree it's like somebody buying you anti aging cream for a present. Nice thought but what are they trying to tell you.

I straighten sometimes - but then I tend to aim the maximiser squarely at the roots for root oomph with sleek lengths!
I buy her kids the noisiest messiest toys I can find!
Passive aggressive gift giving? Oh yeah - we can do that!
I'm thinking a heavily padded bra and some betty dye to cover the greys this year, but you guys have come up with such fab ideas that she may well get a hamper of goodies this Christmas!

They keep saying it's a perfect gift. Well unless specifically asked for I wouldn't like to be given stuff to salvage some bit of me, in particular my hair.
Lol! It's like they're saying "You're a bit of a wreck so I bought you this"
Love A'Kin - that's exactly what happens to me with the A'kin shampoos - they make my hair light and swingy, but I'm never really confident until I've done a 2nd wash, as it is a very low foaming shampoo anyway.
Have you checked out Tesco for the Louise Galvin? In my local one they were selling 200ml (I think) sizes of her shampoos/conditioners for about £4ish each. I haven't tried them yet though as I've now got a stash of L'Occitane to use alongside the remnants of my A'kin and am saving up for Mchael DiCesare coming back too:happy:
Cheers sweetie pie. I know she has a new Diffusion range out and I need to do a big ole supermarket shop this week so Tesco will do as well as any other!
PS I'm glad it's not just me with the low foaming A'kin. I felt a bit of a failure.
PPS Do we know when the flippin' heck Michael Di C is going to be on air? I get bored looking forward to things if they take too blummen long to materialise!

I have been using a MOP shampoo and thought the same thing. I wonder if this is something that has to do with the fact that these products have no chemicals in them? I seem to remember that the Green Beauty Bible explained that the results for shower products were generally a little low because testers were disappointed with the low levels of lather with the natural products. They explained that the lather in normal shower gels is produced by the chemicals that are absent in the greener versions, hence the complaint of too little foam. I wonder if it works in the same way for shampoos?
