I agree, LA. I like the Maximizer and the Elasticizer, but the shampoos make me flakey and itchy. (yes even the Flakey/Itchy one made me flakey/itchy!) They are great and you use so little they are economical, but I am trying out other ranges like Louise Galvin and A'kin. Tempted, but need to F.A.R.T.

Oh No! I'm pretty sure that's not how it's meant to work!

The finished effect of A'kin is fab. It makes my hair shiny, light and swingy and it seems to stay clean a little longer, but I haven't got used to how it feels when I'm using it yet. I find I have to shampoo twice to get any lather, and I'm not sure if my hair is clean unless I lather up and massage my scalp with it.

I picked up some small sizes of Louise Galvin on eBay and loved it so I keep popping into TK Maxx to see if they have any in but no luck so far. I saw the litre size in TK Maxx back when I was F.A.R.Ting hard and now wish I'd got them!

There's no Maximiser or Elastcizer in my stash - just the ones I have in use to I may get this and sell what I don't need. *wanders off to do her sums*

Never used PK at all, can someone tell me what the elsticizer or maximizer are meant to do please?

Love A'Kin - that's exactly what happens to me with the A'kin shampoos - they make my hair light and swingy, but I'm never really confident until I've done a 2nd wash, as it is a very low foaming shampoo anyway.

Have you checked out Tesco for the Louise Galvin? In my local one they were selling 200ml (I think) sizes of her shampoos/conditioners for about £4ish each. I haven't tried them yet though as I've now got a stash of L'Occitane to use alongside the remnants of my A'kin and am saving up for Mchael DiCesare coming back too:happy:

Is Gobby launching the tsv? Because if she is I shan't bother to watch. Not in the mood for her shrieking and squawking about the cost of private appointments and celebrities flying in and other such sh*te that I couldn't give a stuff about. Bad enough contemplating work in the morning without her giving me ear ache! :cheeky:

The Christmas TSV I presume. That must explain why PK's hairdresser has been cultivating his pantomime look. I'll watch just to see what he's done to his barnet.

The elasticizer isn't bad, but I do not go much on the rest of the range. Hope it is a good one for all those who like PK.

Oh you mean Teasy Weasy? He's looking very macho with a bit of stubble. NO doubt you all agree.

Another fan of the Elastizer, scalp tonic and maximiser oh and preen cream. But i've never been able to get on with his shampoos. The moisture balance conditioner seems to suit my hair nowadays, never use to. I've recently moved to Phyto and I'm liking what I've seen so far.

never been interested in pk.now i've got my hair back to natural colour,I'm trying to grow it and get it in better condition.May have gone for this - but am really disturbed that all pk and ay are on about are stopping split ends. All that I've ever read,is that take no notice of any claim like this from anyone,as you can never stop spilt ends?? I dunno, can't get this out of my mind,as pk has deflated a bit for me.

What you mean you don't want to hear how you can literally put the actual elasticiser on your actual hair.

Aw so disappointed piddly 75ml sizes of shampoo and conditioner only :?:

I am FARTING and buying DDs PK from feelunique instead :fume:

Really disappointed, actually wanted to wait up for this one as love his shampoo. I will not be going for this, only want it for the shampoo and conditioner with the other bits as a bonus so with those sizes they can forget it.

It's my hubbies birthday today and our surname is not unlike My Kingsleys name ;) good timing.

I like elasticiser but don't think it gives more conditioning than normal conditioner. I do feel it's because I have normal hair that's healthy and doesn't need intense conditioning on a frequent level, with all my intense conditioners I only use them occassionally. I was lucky to get elasticiser as part of the beauty bible testing last year. Also in the past I've purchased some of his flaky Itchy scalp products for a phase where my scalp was terrible for dryness, they didn't do a thing. I ended up giving them away and then to top it all, I purchased some again about 18 months later, forgetting I'd already used it. Again, I gave that away. So I have a very strange relationship with Mr Kingsley's products.

I think maybe they are trying to say that if your hair is in amazing condition (from using his products and having regular cuts) then you are unlikely to get split ends.

However, if you do have split ends, the only way to get rid of them is to have your hair cut.

I tried his volumising shampoo - did nothing for my fine/limp hair. Cannot use elasticizer as it has an animal product in it.

I am not a veggie, but I don't knowingly use beauty products tested on animals. What is the animal product is elasticizer? I have a jar and have read the back but I can't spot it. Is it a common ingredient in other haircare?

Hmmm, I'm in a quandary here. I'm trying to really look after my hair which has been looking sad after my pregnancy (I have a lot of thick, wavy frizzy hair, with dry ends).
Now, I have tried today for the first time a sachet of elasticizer, and I do think it has made my hair nice, but not fabulous. I am tempted by the Hot Pick 1L Elasticizer because I have looked online and it seems very good value at the QVC price, and I'm thinking that I need more regular use to see results. I also like the fact that you apply it before shampooing.

So the dilemma is: 1L Elasticizer or this Ojon kit which also seems very good value (the problem is that I have never tried Ojon, although I am impressed with what I have read on the forum about it...). Any advice please?
