So far my new Evri deliveries have arrived ok, my area has a new driver and it's been working well. My current issue is with DPD, I ordered new placemats from a specialist online company. I got a notification that they would be delivered with a time slot and I was at home, however I received a notification that the parcel had been delivered to my safe place, photo showed a house I didn't recognise and it was left in a completely different 'safe place' to the one I have told them. I called via their App to try to divert the driver but apparently his mobile was switched off. The following day two Amazon parcels were apparently 'handed to resident', but not me, fortunately they were redelivered to me by my postman the next day.
I contacted the retailer about the placemats, DPD said there was nothing they could do so a new parcel was dispatched. It arrived at the depot on Sunday morning, it couldn't be delivered on Monday due to extreme weather, it was actually extremely mild. It was being held at the depot on Tuesday. It was out for delivery yesterday but couldn't be delivered as the driver couldn't find my house although I had uploaded a photo after the first parcel wasn't delivered. However, DPD managed to successfully deliver a parcel from another company on Saturday when temperatures were subzero!
I have a problem with an order from Boots too, supposed to be delivered to a store on Tuesday but it hasn't left the warehouse yet, when I called I was told that I have to allow an additional 9 working days before there is an issue but they were guaranteeing delivery when I ordered!
 
I ordered two things from Sephora UK sale yesterday, both half price.

Got an email a few hours later saying it was on its way, email from evri saying they have my parcel. Now I am not expecting it until perhaps next week or the first week of the New Year. But it shows how fast evri are getting parcels to their warehouses.
 
My nail file TSV arrived this morning. Something else that I ordered, before I ordered the TSV, has been “on its way” for three days. 🙄

I’ve also been getting updates from Evri before I’ve had the dispatch email from QVC.

They’re certainly less “harsh” than my other crystal file but I haven’t used them fully yet as I only did my nails on Wednesday. I’ve not tried buffing the nails with them yet as I’ve got nail polish on. It’s good that they all have sturdy cases in which to store them though. That “review” is probably not very helpful, but I’m certainly keeping them,
 
I ordered the nail file TSV Thursday afternoon and it was delivered by Evri last night, excellent service from all concerned.
I ordered those and they arrived today. Unfortunately an order for four throws (3 Xmas presents and 1 for meeee), ordered last Saturday haven't. Tracking said they'd deliver last Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday then Thursday. Thursday evening tracking had changed to 'It's booked'. Rang CS and found out it was on its way back to QVC.

In between this, they also delivered a Sephora parcel to my doorstep, where it sat for three hours until I saw a notification on my phone. No door knock and you'd laugh at the photo of the steps if you could see them in the dark. They also left another parcel sticking out of my letterbox while I was away.

I do really appreciate it's difficult times but I so wish Carl, who delivered at my old address, had moved his patch (I did beg him before I moved).

Anyway, first world problems. I guess I should be grateful I can afford to shop at QVC and that we're not living in a war zone.

Evri have been amazing in our village. Nothing but praise for them. Our local posties also been amazing and my remaining items delivered today. Praise from me.
My Evri driver is good. Waited a bit longer this last few weeks for a parcel but to be expected with all the delays from strikes going on no doubt.
 
Scott my evri driver is delivering my Sephora UK order today between 12-1 pm

Now SpaceNK order is so it says out with me tomorrow with Royal Mail. I am not holding my breath.
 
Something that I ordered, before the nail file TSV, and which has been at the “we’ve got it” stage for quite a while, is due for delivery between 11am - 1pm today. My local couriers are superb so I know it will be delivered.
 
My postperson disappeared for 2 weeks. I missed hospital appointments because I didn't receive the appointment letters, I run out of medication, etc. I had to call Royal Mail and make a complaint. The next day I received an avalanche of post. At least with Royal mail you can give them a call and speak with a human being. Not so with Evri.

That is because whoever sends the parcels is their customer and the contract is with them. So you have to contact whoever you bought from.

I have the number of my local sorting office, and you can phone between certain hours and get a person. Ring RM direct and it is all automated and go round in circles.
 
Received my QVC from Evri - different guy than my regular - my regular Evri guy delivered a TJC parcel later and was surprised I’d had another Evri delivery as this is his ‘patch’ - he checked the QVC parcel from a depot miles away - relived that all my parcels have now arrived 🙋🏼‍♂️
 
I ordered cat food from pets at home 2 weeks ago, next day delivery by evri. Parcel didn't turn up. It was out for delivery, then 2 hours later it was delayed. After 2 days of no show, I got in touch with PAH and they sent another box. (Evri again).

So that was out for delivery then delayed. Tracking on both boxes never moved. I got in touch with PAH again, they agreed parcels were probably lost. These are very big boxes to lose.

So to they sent a third box this time by DPD and it arrived the next day.

Anyways last week, to my surprise, one of the boxes from Evri was delivered. Delivery man pleaded ignorance of anything.

Told PAH and just wanted to keep the catfood and pay for them. But they told me to keep them free of charge for all the messing about i'd had. So turned out good in the end.

Gosh that was a bit long winded, sorry. I have no faith whatsoever in Evri. They are rubbish round here. Different delivery man every time. It's been terrible since the man who delivered for years retired. He was great.
