My local counter have said a few times on TSV days people come in tell them all about the great deal. Then buy something anyway.

Keeley recommending the Pro Rad Cleanser for everyone, makes me think of Estee Lauder SAs. No matter if you tell them you have very dry sensitive skin they will push Double Wear foundation!!! I have read this on forums and then people say its just awful on them.

The youth skin range for Elemis has been turning up in TKMaxx for quite some time now.

I ordered the TSV on Friday, delivered today, Monday . Not had anything from QVC,not even saying order received. Hermes had delivered before the email saying it was in their depot.

it did sell out and only a few hundred on advanced orders left. but we all know until xmas there will still be a few left

The thing is... so often you can see the TSV sets knocking around months after the TSV date they were launched on. Not just Elemis, but also other brands.

It's just so much "smoke and mirrors" as QVC themselves are so fond of saying themselves. Why push so hard if you are already selling very briskly. Claire Sutton repeated on the two occasions I saw her doing the TSV that you needed to hurry and buy as it wasn't going to last the day at the rate it was selling.

I think QVC ordered big and it didn't actually sell out at all - I suspect they had more than one advance delivery ordered... so we will see new stock coming in "because it's been so popular" and at an introductory price. Some of these TSVs never get sold at the QVC price at all, which means that the QVC price isn't worth the paper it's written on (or the pixels). The irony being that the ones which actually do get sold at the full QVC price are probably the slowest sellers with the oldest stock.

I'm afraid my cynicism about Elemis, is escalating with each TSV... the rot set in for me big time with the ridiculous Team Frangipani / Team Orchid nonsense with the Christmas TSV... and the hard sell with this TSV was particularly noticeable, from the QVC presenters and of course good old Keeley.

That Team Orchid etc nonsense was absolutely pathetic wasn't it? How old do they think we are, 8?

I have just used my orchid stuff. I much prefer a gel to a shower cream as they give little lather, IMO, but I do like the body cream very much.

Yes hard to take the range seriously after that marketing tactic. Cheapened the brand significantly IMO as does Keeley too sadly.

Shame they didn't have the frangipani handcream when they did the "team frangipani" "team orchid" nonsense at Ch

That said, I dislike most of the newer fragrances they have developed for their bath and body products. Bring back Quiet Mind and the lovely Tranquil Touch one with patchouli. The newer ones are far too floral and intense - lots of white flowers which are far too "heady" to be relaxing and pleasurable, especially when layered in my view.

I can see the advanced eye treatment is repackaged - so Elemis actually need to update their own website, unless this is a special QVC size.

I'm also expecting a high price, as with the exception of the handcream this is all about the face.

I agree about the Quiet Mind and Tranquil Touch. I actually ordered this and cancelled it 5 minutes later. I looked at the handcream in more detail and I knew it wasn't for me as I can't bear the frangipane fragrance. The thought of that lingering on my hands would make me feel quite sick. I love the Milk Bath which I think has a beautiful gentle scent but each to their own.

Oh Quiet Mind was absolutely gorgeous. It was fabulous in the bath when you wanted a good long soak. It really helped me relax and wind down.

I`ve never used any Elemis eye products before and the one in this latest TSV is very watery ...should it be like this ..or have I got a faulty one ?

I love this product and yes, it is clear and watery. It is fantastic. You can use it right up to the lash line, either alone or you can add an eye cream around the orbital (socket) area as well if you need it.

It is one of the few Elemis skincare products I still rate and buy.
