I've already said I won't be watching tomorrow... and I don't buy any TSVs ahead of the launch. I want to see at least one presentation of any TSV I'm thinking of buying....
I therefore will miss being told to "jump to the phones", that the lines are busy so tap the app, or use q-cut. I will miss the truthful but contrived price comparison to the single item prices for the individual items also available on QVC. I will miss being told it's prestige or premium luxury british spa brand. I will miss being told that you could buy it for a woman or a man. I will miss being told that everything is suitable for all skin types. I will miss being told which celebrities are using it. I will miss being told which of the QVC presenters/production team can't live without this or that product. I will miss the adulatory texts, the tweets, the pictures of peoples' collections being shown on screen. I will miss being told what a highly desirable item the (in my opinion) hideous silver bag is. I will miss being told how many gifts I can split it up into, or alternatively how many I should get for the mother/mother-in-law/uncle tom cobley and all. I will miss being told how many orders Keeley's been asked to place for members of her family or friends.
No, actually, I won't miss any of it... any more than QVC will miss my money going into their coffers for this TSV.
And let's face it, in a few weeks it will be back on our screens at an introductory price anyway, so I really won't miss anything at all!!
