I just assumed you may have known, seen as you had all the item numbers. I suppose I could ask on the main QVC page there's bound to be somebody on there who will know, usually is, might even have a photograph to see it too. Thanks anyway.

i wouldnt as most people wont know whats in it until the day when its revealed & most just call & ask thats even if Q know from my experiences it takes them a few days to find out
 
Anyone else a bit disappointed to see the amount donated to BCC for the two Ali Keenan silver jewellery items; less than half of the purchase price. I suspect this is a QVC decision rather than Alison's but it seems far less than I'd expect. :mysmilie_512:
 
Even when I used to shop with QVC I gave direct, I know they got all the money then, not giving QVC money for the "BCC" item that I know is only a clearance price or Introductory Price, so QVC or the retailer don't lose any money or donate anything at all, but get all the glory. After the Debbie Flint incident it shows that this is more a publicity stunt for QVC or they'd have know what she was up to.
 
I think QVC should cut their profit by half at least on the pieces they sell on the Breast Cancer Care Night. I used to think it was a good caring effort by the Q, but soon realised that it was another ploy to get profits:devil:
 
When the event first started the claim was that the vendors donated the goods (free of charge) and QVC provided the TV hours and the ordering & despatch processes (free of charge). The buyer got the item at half price but all of that money went to BCC. It was a nice simple, tangible formula for giving. How naïve I was back then. Gradually the discount crept away from 50% and the percentage donated from each item has become less certain. This worries me more than the Tea with Joan at the Ritz and Crown-gate fiascos, potentially depriving the charity of more cash.

There's a kit on Ulta called Power of Pink possibly the same it has 2 Moxie lip glosses in Tough Cookie and Survivor not sure if there's anything else in the kit as the link to it doesn't work anymore.

Now I don't want to be a killjoy and I love Taxco and have many many pieces, but that piece has been on the BCC for several years and in clearance for as long.

Shame on you Q and I would like to hope that Dominique is not aware of this.

It doesn't leave a nice taste in the mouth if the BCC event is used as a clearance opportunity.
