This is the first pick of the month I've been interested in too.
I love b&b. I use the porcelain.
I've completely given up on liquid foundations as I've never found one that doesn't make me look tangoed after half an hour, most are too dark to start with anyway. I know there are an odd few brands that do very, very pale ones but I don't live in easy reach of stores that stock those sort of brands. But b&b porcelain never changes colour & neither does BM Fair.

They also did B&B as BPOTM last year I think, 9g + 1.8g both for the price of 9g (home and away) not sure about the success but they couldn't tempt me until now.

It was two years ago!!!

Item has 3.6 out 5 stars in the reviews! They sold it off as an OTO in July last year.

M&S Autograph mousse foundation has pale shades. Their lightest shade, ivory, would be worth a try, I've never seen such a pale shade, too much for me. I had to go for sand, which is two shades up from ivory, which is unheard of for me.

I've just bought a medium in debenhams today ( had a voucher and 10% off) I did open boxes to check no cracks first. One had a crack right through it so swapped it for another. I was tempted to get two but glad I didn't now. I've ordered the BPOTM so I will have one for work and one for home.

I use it as a finishing powder over my Clarins foundation. It doesn't last all day so having a spare at work to freshen up will be good.

Thanks for that.
I find it amazing in a country with so many people with cool toned fair skin that we are so badly catered for. Luckily I don't wear foundation all the time, but I use concealer every day and the same problem occurs with them, absolutely every high street brand (and many premium brands) are too dark or yellow. I'm glad I'm around in the age of the Internet so I have access to brands who do cater for us!

I thought I'd check the ingredients in B&B and found that it contains aluminium and it is high on the list. And Centella Asiatica Extract that they bang on about is in the end of the list. What hypocrites.

Confused. Are there Two Beauty Picks this month?

Margaret Dabbs bigger size foot cream stuff was mentioned last night at Pick Of The Month on QVC. On Facebook people are also commenting about the 150mls size being the Super Size Pick Of The Month. Yet the LG is super size too it seems.

Some of the FB folk are confused as well, but according to people on there the B&B is the Beauty Pick of the Month and the foot cream is the Beauty Supersize of the Month. Anything to get our money!

It's now on 3EP, is this unusual for BPOTM? EP and free P&P. Now it will be selling like hot cakes, they must have loads of stock to last all month.

I heard Julia say that B&B is £22, went and checked and yes they've put it under a new item number, guess because the old one gets loads of disappointed people saying 'what's happened to the formula?'

The new one is £22 and has not been on air

The old one is still £28

It took me a while to realise that the new £22 one comes without a brush (lots of people were complaining for years they didn't need a brush each time they purchased B&B), it all makes sense now.

Be good if there was one of her really big retractable brushes to go with the big compact.

I used to use B&B years ago in fair, till the fair seemed to be more like medium for some reason. I changed then to Magic Minerals on Ideal World were the colour is consistent and suited my skin perfectly and actually does cover blemishes something my B&B never did, what makes it better is that it's a third of the price too, so win win for me. :mysmilie_14:

Is this it?

If so, good value at £9.99 on the Argos website...12g size too which is bigger than the normal Laura Geller size (9g)

Yeah, but I get it from Ideal World. It used to be Jerome Alexander's but changed to Magic Minerals. On Ideal World you get good value sets with the stubby brushes, mascara and blusher.

Just adding they've sold out of the set now, when they do and I'm running out I buy this http://www.idealworld.tv/pp/mineral-magic-3-in-1-self-correcting-mineral-powder-10g-professional-stubby-brush-364542?referrer=search&fh_location=//IdealWorld/en_GB/$s=Magic%20minerals

I received my B&B in Porcelain and it’s surprisingly consistent in swirls of colour. Another thing I’ve noticed – there are no white swirls but very light creamy.
I tried my best to take a photo, hope it shows what I mean.

That looks a good mix.
Mine's still at the " order generated" stage even though I ordered it at the weekend, you do get fed up with them. Was hoping it would be here today or tomorrow as I have to go away tomorrow till Sunday so it will probably sit in the recycling bin for days.

I’ve used my supersize B&B this morning and it seemed more powdery than ever. Am I the only one to think this?

This looks like an interesting find! I am not on Ideal World and have never heard of Mr. ALexander but I do have to go near an Argos on Friday so may treat myself. Have checked and it is in stock. I never have much luck with one shade suits all but what the heck!!!!
