Beauty bash- anyone for a deal???

Im not jealous about going at all , my point was with soo much about the beauty bash being said on FB it really should have been posted in the drop , as its not then any member of this forum is entitled to have there opinion. I have been a member for a while on here and feel very iffy about ever posting after seeing how some people really go for the jugular when they disagree with wot someone has said. I hope the ladies have a great time and look forward to hearing about it , as i would imagine it will be honest feed back rather than what u soemtimes get on QVc fb page .[n

Are we going to have people saying they didn't get tickets for the Jewellery Bash as well Frazzled. Wonder if they'll be many invited, as jewellery seems to have lost a lot of popularity , although i think with Charlie's Gem show etc, they are trying to win people back

I have to confess this out of the loop Lemon doesn't really know what it is...but I have seen grown(pregnant) women lunge for a bottle of free Bio oil like it was the last drop of water in the desert with me in the middle panicking like hell!!

Always makes me smile when people make comparisons about this site and Facebook. Interestingly enough people on here and Facebook can be opinionated, difficult, clicky, hostile, warm, friendly. I genuinely don't see any difference in either. I like both and prefer not to be drawn into we are better on here, and on Facebook we are better than STC. I always think room for all!

If there's a jewellery bash I ought to get a ticket. I would say 80% of everything I've ever bought is jewellery. From silver with semi precious stones through Lola Rose and into the expensive stuff. You name it I've bought it. Mainly semi precious stuff though.

If I give up the jewellery habit QVC may well go bust!

I don't like the QVC facebook personally, i think they are very clicky and seem to post rather weird photos, jokes and gang up if you say something they don;t agree with. Probably you say that about this site, but i think there's a varied opinion and people speak up and disagree and never really get nasty. Also on facebook its a faceless place, and this site has Graham who has been running it for years and years, and has recently cost him a lot of heartache and distress. Facebook QVC is mostly run by QVC and they take down posts they disagree with. Here mostly everyone has their say, and thats all thanks to Graham and the moderators, and everyone else who helps out, at their own expense. So IMO there's nowhere better than here, and thanks to Graham, and we all appreciate the struggle he's been having. Rant over

I got a ticket a few years ago but couldn't go because i did my back in and couldn't move. I was surprised to get a ticket because i had hardly ordered any jewellery.
I phoned them up and apparently people are chosen at random

I joined once with the authorisation of my work (it's a banned site at work) just with an email to try to find out info for one of my cases. But no profile. B***ers raided my contacts and I was NOT happy. I closed the account but oh no... I still get emails "do you know so and so.." Once you join you can never escape the clutches of facebook. Many people like it but it makes me nervous with the "big brother" mentality.

TBH you could take Tinks as I'm not sure that a jewellery bash would be my thing. Ralph (Honora) isn't exactly eye candy and CB the gem man does nothing for me!!
