QVC must love it when this type of thread appears, their sales suddenely go up for certain products, so whilst they may not like us criticising, this site does have its advantages to them too.

Just a quick update to everyone - my rebounder arrived yesterday, and I am really pleased and impressed. It is very light, but extremely sturdy - I think the person who has this posted that it is difficult to close without 2 people and there are warnings all over saying "please close with 2 people". It isn't huge. The DVDs are all included in 1 disc and there is a "how to set up" section and exercise programmes for "first timers" , "beginners" "seniors","intermediates" an "advanced" and a "tummy" - a different tummy section is included in the beginners and I would presume in the intermediate and advanced, but haven't got that far because I am a bit shattered because I've got shingles. Interestingly there was no carrycase in my box and when I phoned up CS they said that they couldn't send me out one, but that they would arrange a pick up to replace it - I decided against that because I don't need to carry it around, so they refunded my postage which I was pleased about.
Sorry for the long post, I think this one is a keeper:)

Hi everyone
My Urban rebounder has arrived and will let you all know when I use it, I am going to have a look at it in a while, but if it requires two people to open it out Iwill be back later with a update as need to wait for hubby to come home later. Dont mind if its a faff to set it up as long as its a good piece of kit

Just opened it out, with no problem, but it does need two people to close it however i am leaving mine open and will lay it on its side in living room for now, then once my gym rooms done it can go in there set up. Going to have a look at the dvd see what its got to say.

Well for anyone that is interested I tried out the Urban rebounder and it is absolutley brillinat. It really works all the body especially the abs and legs. definately keeping this piece of kit I did the half a hour workout and am looking forward to using it again tomorrow

Yes Piper i would defo recommend it. you get a really good workout, the sweat drips of you so you can imagine the calories it must burn. Also it is great fun cant wait to sleep so i can do it all over again tomorrow.

Just had to second what Dazzler says - I've used this now about 5x (just the beginners section) and it is a real workout, the instructor is clear and easy to follow and you get very hot and sweaty which is no bad thing in my book. I think it is really good for the abs as they keep reminding you to hold your abs in, and the ab section seems to work deeper with less strain because you are lying on the rebounder itself. I also think it works the pelvic floor!
I keep mine out but with the legs collapsed, it just rests up against a wall, and it's very light to roll or lift into position.
I've not had any problem with bouncing off (I am spectacularly clumsy:)) or with my knees/ankles hurting which stopped me running.
I really think that it is a great piece of kit, with a very good DVD which takes you from starters to advanced with a good few workout in between.

Thanks nanm
I do the same with mine just collapsed the legs and it is leaned against the wall. Its really fun and am going to workout agian tonight. yes you are right you need to sweat not only will this burn loads of calories but sweating also cleanse and detoxes the skin. Glad you love yours as much as I do. It has the bar to put on but to be honest I have not used that bit. I did mine really intense yesturday as I bounced i kept my knees quite bent so it killed and my legs were really burning so am straightening them more now, its just with them saying dont bounce push down i tended to really bend my legs to push so got a real intense workout.

There are more dvds you can buy but its a USA site so dont know if QVC will stock any workouts for it in the future.
