I like Andrew. He has a gentle approach to selling which is very effective. There's no need for presenters and BA's to shout and badger customers into buying.

If we don't know much, if anything, about Andrew and his fsmily from his appearances on QVC, I think that's fantastic! I am heartily sick of the oversharing of personal details by presenters and guests. If we went into a shop and we got a catalogue of personal details, would we be impressed? I doubt it. We don't know them, and frankly developing parasocial relationships with people on tv or social media can be dangerous.

Totally agree it does get boring when the presenters and guests go on about their personal details. I have to switch off.

As Donna said, it was comments about Madeline MCann which finally got him banned, but he'd been 'on the bus', so to speak, for quite a bit before that.
