Their vanity is so annoying and time consuming - Why should we suffer?

Hit the nail on the head. If it wasn't for Julia, the majority of the demographic watching the Q would be the chavtastic lot, like most of the other shopping channels. The American bosses are most definitely aware of this and Julia needs not worry.

Unnakednails - beauty blog on all things qvc and more!

I've just come across this blog 'Unnakednails' by Catrine: http://www.unnakednails.com/p/about-me_17.html. If you love your nailproducts/nail art, you will most probably love her blog. She reviews many of Q's products - especially Leighton Denny/OPI, but also Revitalash with before and after...

    QVC -Liz Earle

I agree that Liz Earle stuff is best ordered direct for the same reasons as mentioned by previous posters. I also have to praise LE for great customer care as well: I am based abroad temporarily, so usually make a big order once a year and buy in bulk (saves on the postage, as it's capped)...

QVC LIZ EARLE shows - where has model Debbie and Liz Earle addict gone

I've got a feeling that for some time now, Liz Earle (the brand) have been exclusively using their own employees as models on the qvc shows. They even model on the Liz Earle website and for other Liz Earle promo work. I guess they are using "real" women, as opposed to a models.

Are you one in a million?

I am not proud to admit, but I was one of those 'perfect (for) qvc customers, putting an order @ least once a week' . My cure was simple: stopped watching = stopped ordering. If you don't see it, you don't know you are missing it.

Beauty Days - How many is too many?

Not that I have bought too much on Ebay in the past (the odd mini tube of PCMC and few Decleor/Gatineau bits), but after reading an article in the press recently, I will NEVER be tempted to buy cosmetics or make up on Ebay, never again! Here is the link...

    L'Artisan

I am sure I've seen the L'Artisan fragrances on Brand Alley before, but didn't know much about the brand, at the time. Hope they come up again in the sale on BA!

    L'Artisan

Love his accent! Have lots of French friends and their accents vary quite a bit, but his accent is what I call 'classic French accent'. His command of English is so much better than Alison's. He is very eloquently spoken. Intelligent, informative and charming - delightful guest presenter.

Beauty Days - How many is too many?

Or shall I say, how many before all the "exclusivity" has been lost? Few years ago I used to watch QVC regularly and at that time there were couple of beauty days a year. It used to be an exciting time of year that I looked forward to and certainly there were few bargains around or at least...

    Clogau Gold

I'd quite like this, down from £640 to £384. Still...quite pricey. And not feeling too confident about delivery, after reading Judith's experience:sweat:

    Halliday Hair

Oh wow! Not everyone can pull off that look, especially pass the age of 30. Her facial contours are nice and firm, no slackening at all. She looks stunning with her hair up. Should wear it like that more often.

    Ernest Borgnine has died

Oh, I am saddened to hear that. RIP Ernest.

Thanks very much (little Edward waving :hi: )

    Halliday Hair

This debate about middle aged or older women having long hair will always have split opinions. Simply because there is no right or wrong (or standard) solution for which hair length suits certain age or certain people. Jilly obviously likes herself with the hair as it is, otherwise, I am sure...

    Ali Young at home

What I noticed was, that Alison keeps her Decleor oils on the windowsill. :mysmilie_865: She should know better, being 'Your Beauty Resident Expert', they'll go off in no time, exposed to light and heat (on the occasional sunny day) sat on the windowsill. On the other hand, I don't think she...

    Happy Birthday Julia!

JR will always look great, eye bags or not. Simply because she has a genetic advantage of being born (what most people would consider to be) with beautiful facial features and she takes good care of herself, too. My experience in real life is that the people who go on about how well preserved...

Gaudy beads on elastic. Hola Lola

In the early days Nikki herself has said on air, that the jewellery is hand made in Britain. If that has changed now, I don't know... If indeed nowdays the line is produced in the Far East as claimed, then it's more of a rip off than I previously thought (considering the workers there are only...

Gaudy beads on elastic. Hola Lola

I own quite a selection of LR jewellery , mostly the statement pieces and I love most of them (for reasons already mentioned). Wear them often, too. On most occasions I receive compliments on the jewellery from people I know as well as strangers that I've never met before. Many of my friends...

    Sandy, the Kipling FAN

The Kipling rep - Marie(?), showed photo after photo, after photo...masses of pilled up high and colour coordinated Kipling bags, that belonged to one of Q customers - Sandy, who owned around 300:mysmilie_505: Kipling bags! Besides the fact that Sandy could have bought herself a brand new car...
