    Going Bare Legged

I always think about this when i watch Sky news in the morning. Don't get me wrong - all of the ladies are attractive and groomed, but all are bare legged and i just think a thin pair of tights would look better.

Skin Coloured nora batty tights..can it truly be a good look?

Tights and sandals - should be shot. Tights (or holdies or stockings) with shoes - always acceptable, especially if you are less than model perfect, which is nearly all of us. Personally this year I am still in winter boots with socks!

Wanted Please LG Porcelain or Bare Minerals Fair

Hi Bags I have an unopened BE fair with sifter lid 8g. Think it was from the TSV earlier in the year/end of last year, so not too old. I have never sold anything before, so don't have paypal account! Don't understand this PM stuff either - maybe i need to learn! Would £15 inc postage be fair...

    Beauty Day-Bare Minerals TSV 14/7/12

Mine was delivered this morning - ordered Thursday so quite prompt for a change! Re shade: I am a ghostly colour in the winter, and slightly less ill looking in the summer. No high street foundations go light enough for me. I use Fair in winter and Fairly Light at the moment. But the first one I...

    Beauty Day-Bare Minerals TSV 14/7/12

Didnt realise it was the double size foundation, is a very good price for the kit. Shouldn't have got 2 LE's last week! Hope there is nothing else coming up that I 'need'.

    Flexi Pay Problem

The bottom line is though that if you could ring them and they answered within a couple of minutes, even on a premium line, and you could make yourself understood, then all this would have been sorted before now. Hope you get it sorted.

    Ultrasun TSV 5th July 2012

Would have bought it but already have all these in my stash. Not exactly getting through things like aftersun very quickly at the moment!

ASA Complaint About QVC and UltraSun

Another thing - does it wash off or does it just disappear? Surely after swimming and towelling you need to reapply. I would even though it says water resistant.

ASA Complaint About QVC and UltraSun

Having burnt a couple of times as a child (before we were educated) and knowing it is miserable, and suffering sunstroke the first time I went abroad, I am very very wary of the sun. So when Ultrasun first came along i thought it was the answer to everything. I am very fair and never tan, so i...

    Glen Campbell and Marta shoes

Hoped they had lost him in the move.... Thought he looked like the penguin from batman in those shoes.

    Julia's Children

I'm sure they would still have to go through some sort of interview/training. A few years ago someone told me that our local council advertised all of its jobs in-house first so that any family/friends of staff had first opportunity to apply. I was mad at the time cos it meant there was no...

    Grand Opening....

    Kathy looks gorgeous!

    Ultrasun

Just to muddy the water a bit.... I was watching Ultrasun last week, and Abby definately said that you can moisturise before or after Ultrasun-ing. I rewound it as I always thought it had to be the first thing on the skin so it binds to it, and then wait 15 minutes if you want to apply anything...

    Liz Earle Colour

So did she sell to Avon so that they would help develop make up products? If we all think Avon is 'cheap' and questionable about animal testing, why would she sell out to them? Didn't she have any better offers?? Did she need money quickly?? I also understand Kim(?) her partner is moving on.

Cheap skincare - is it worth it?

I use LE C&P and have to say that it does balance my oily skin out nicely. I can also use it all over my eyes which you can't with some others. As for moisturisers, not fussed really. I think some eg Decleor can sometimes be too heavy and just sit on the skin. Anything that's on offer I can use...

    SBC Arnica

I like arnica gel, think it helps with aches and lessens bruising. Used arnica cream once (arnicare??) - was useless. I also think deep heat type things are useless. I would say try it as you aren't doing any harm. As for collegen - yep pink gloop, did nothing, eventually binned it. The aloe is...

Anybody received their Kipling TSV yet??

I saw the TSV whilst I was at my friends house, and as it was large thought it would be good for me, but I waited until I got home, looked online at the measurements, and compared it to the bags I already have and it was no bigger than some I already had so I passed.

    Gtech Hedge Trimmer

I have had mine for a couple of years. Very light and easy to use. I use it on a leylandi hedge. The charge lasts 45 minutes or so. Would recommend it, especially if you struggle a bit.

Kim & Co- not bad at all!

I think the prices are quite high, but if you can find something you like that you wear over and over then it can be very good value-per-wear than something cheaper. I was tempted to try the slinky on IW - it looked OK on screen but when I opened it up I knew it was going straight back even...

CDs on QVC : sealed or not ?

Maybe if you listen to more than half of it and then decide to return it, they will refuse your refund (see other thread)!
