    Oh, the irony... ... gosh.

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 6" Wi-Fi eReader TSV 23/09/16

If you've only got the standard Kindle at the moment then I'd recommend upgrading to the Paperwhite. I wouldn't be without mine now. The backlight is fantastic.

    Antthony Fashion Designs 20/09/16

The TSV isn't a 'sweaty Betty fabric', it's 95% viscose... but why ruin a good insult with some facts eh?

    high prices

They are retailers, they sell stuff - people buy it.... what's the problem with that? You never miss an opportunity to rave about Ideal World, how are they any better? They use exactly the same techniques to buddy up to the viewers. In fact, they're worse with some presenters like the ex-bid...

So easy to criticise - yet so hard to spell: 'arithmetic'.

Kim & Co Fashion TSV 01/08/16

I didn't say she was a standard 50 year old - I qualified it plus it was a response to someone calling her ugly. IMO Jill is similar to thousands of women along the London commuter belt who are affluent, take time to keep themselves fit and have the money to buy in help for chores etc. I...

    I don't think she's ugly - she's a standard 50+ woman who likes to keep fit.

    Presenter leaving?

Austin Healey - born 1973 - England and Lions Rugby Union player. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin_Healey He is well known for his bolshie attitude which might be a result of having to grow a thick skin to cope with the ribbing he would have had because of his name.

Vit D and New Health Gudelines

Basically, in the northern hemisphere, during the months of October to April it is near impossible to get all of your vitamin D from the sun - even if you work outdoors all day. The Canadian government has recommended supplements for their citizens for years now. In the US, Harvard has...

    L'Occitane TSV 09/07/16

I can't abide the smell either - it reminds me of the pet shop smell that's a mix of dried dog food, rabbit bedding etc Next time you're in Pets At Home, have a good old sniff.

Has The Q Got Anything For A 16 Year Old Girl?

I bought my niece a silver charm bracelet for her 16th and have bought here charms every birthday and Christmas since then. Pandora often do offers - I buy my charms from John Greed who are an approved online seller (as there are a lot of fake sites out there). This bracelet is really good...

    Lock & Lock TSV 05/07/16

I bought a 7 piece nesting set from Ocado a few months ago - it's now beginning to get on my nerves because you have to open all the outer boxes to reach the one small box that you want. I know they save a lot of space but be prepared for a little bit of irritation along the way.

    Lulu Guiness sale

Completely off topic but I can recommend Briggs & Riley as a luggage brand - they are so practical and durable - not pretty but they last and have a massive warranty. http://www.johnlewis.com/search?Ntt=briggs+%26+riley&Nty=1&_requestid=2540489

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite with Case TSV 26/06/16

I'm reading The Forsyte Saga - which is a bit heavy going because of the more traditional language used - it's free on Kindle: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0084AHD30/?tag=shoppingcom03-21 Plus, I'm reading the Z-Burbia series for some light relief...

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite with Case TSV 26/06/16

The ads only appear at the first screen when you switch on from standby... I don't mind the ads as they do give offers that I like... new books, games etc. You switch on and the welcome screen is an ad, one sweep of a finger and it disappears... no hassle at all. I don't even really think...

    Has anyone tried these lock'n'locks?

But WHY do you need airtight bowls? For storage the shape isn't that important - but angles are easier to store together than curves. If you are planning to cook in them and then eat straight from them then I don't think you'll be happy with their longevity. They will discolour and may...

    Has anyone tried these lock'n'locks?

I haven't tried these ones as I find round containers less space saving than rectangular ones. Also, I wouldn't microwave in the Lock & Locks as they do stain if the product contains tomatoes or turmeric etc. What do you want to specifically use them for? We may have a different suggestion.

Another gadget introduced to me by QVC

Which supplier did you use Strato? I've just ordered one from Amazon - thanks for pointing to this as I hadn't heard of the PowerCube before.
