Still better than any Swan & Edgar, even if the camera recording quality is awful (can't find anything similar on YouTube with a quick search).

Create & Craft have sold a few non-craft items in the past though as others said a dedicated channel for the non-craft items would be the best option (and nothing to stop them from selling craft items there as well).

Last Saturday there was a watch show at 10pm so there could be something similar at the same time tomorrow.

Having seen the four that comprise this new Shop Extra channel I would have swapped out Shaun Ryan for Mike Mason. Yes, Mason really is better than Ryan when on his best behaviour. Anyway I won't be able to watch the new channel for various reasons even if I wanted to. If they drag back Swan &...

They've sold 120 of those Damages Polymath watches. Amazing,

Ext: A hotel room. Peter places a large suitcase on the bed and unlocks it. He removes an alarm clock, an atlas, and address book, an old-looking camera and a filofax from the case. Realising his mistake, Peter leaves the room and moments later enters the room clutching a cheap-looking mobile...

If there was an £800 mark-up for Tourbillons and they sold 10 of them as well as not that many of the other watches, less than £10000 to pay presenters/production crew/backroom staff/management/broadcasting/business overheads for 2 hours of broadcasting can only lead to a thumping loss in the...

From what I saw from TJC last night it was only the Nubeo tourbillons that were selling in anything like respectable quantities and I'm guessing those sold to a relatively small number of people with large amounts of disposable income perhaps as impulse buys who haven't seen Ideal World :D...

I think £100 is the psychological price point for a cheap automatic watch with a guarantee for which you don't have to send the watch back to China for a replacement.

Would be interesting to find out how many of the Nubeo Manta watches are returned to them but I guess we'll never know. Now sold 8 of them

They've done well comparatively speaking with Nubeo, selling 7 so far (12 left). Surprising but I suppose there's market psychology at work here.

Number of Thomas Earnshaw Longcase watches sold so far: 2 The Ideal World smoke and mirrors have just evaporated (we on this forum worked out they weren't selling huge quantities of watches on Ideal World) and I'm sure TJC will show Bordell the door unless they miraculously improve their sales...

Will be interesting to see the prices they're selling them for. From what little I've seen of TJC they tend to sell watches for lower prices (closer to £100) but with higher sales volume (if their on-screen statistics are to be believed) than IW. The equivalent IW Swan & Edgar would usually sell...

TJC's next watch show is tomorrow (Saturday) at 10pm if you're missing your regular fix of watch tat, as with Ideal World it's a slot obviously intended to catch the post-pub crawl audience drunk enough to make expensive impulse purchases. This evening TJC were selling some awful rubbish at...

QVC picked this up from its US parent company because they're afraid of offending any religious fundamentalists who may be watching at the time, mainly applying to certain states in the US. There seems to be a rule for most/all shopping TV channels to avoid saying 'Oh my god' in particular, even...

The few remaining shopping TV channels must know by now not to repeat the same mistake that Ideal World made in taking on nearly all of the Bid/Price-drop TV presenters. People were watching Bid and Price-drop not because of the excellence of the presenters but because they were absolute car...

For the avoidance of doubt, Steven Brown does those often-surreal pictures of animals usually with bright colours as if there had been an explosion in a dye factory. Not my sort of thing personally but at least he has a sense of humour and you can now find his art on shortbread tins and the like...

Years ago I saw a Bid TV recruitment ad for a presenter that listed the starting salary as being £18k, assuming this was normal within the industry for a newcomer 20 years ago. Although salaries may have remained fairly static for several years I'm guessing nowadays that the starting salary...
