Why do they put borders of colours that don't match and just jar on the senses? It's fashion backward, not forward. The stripey ones aren't too bad though I wouldn't buy them and some of these jumpers just look plain odd. Denim & Co is one of my favourite brands on QVC but they've lost me on this one. An opportunity missed.

First thought…”ooh, I like that, especially the pale bluel
Second thought … “oh, I don’t know though, looks like will go out of shape easily”. So checked fabric composition and saw it had some elastane which I presume would help in keeping shape.
Then I checked the price and it’s a NO.
Probably just as well, because I rarely wear jumpers as I overheat far too easily.

£39 for an acrylic jumper???? No thanks. (£17.50 for basic jumpers in M and S, loads of nicer colours too imo)
Yes, I bought an Air Yarn crew neck in M&S for £19.50 on Saturday. I cannot wear polo or mock neck jumpers, I have a short neck and feel like I am being strangled.

Air Yarn is made with recycle materials.

Just had a look at the Air Yarn, I'd never come across it before and it looks really nice. Hopefully it washes well.

It looks as if they didn’t have enough of the main colour yarn so added the stripes to eke it out. I know as I’ve done it myself when knitting but the stripes would be on the main body not on the ribbing. Expensive for what it is.

It looks to me as if they’ve tried to imitate a Joules type jumper - some of the colour combos are slightly similar - but missed a bit?

I don’t hate a couple of them, but wouldn’t be tempted.

I’ve got a blanket ban on acrylic.
Even if I fall in love with a scarf or jumper - which does happen although obviously not here! - I only have to think about the creak, bobble and feel and it’s a NO from me!

I have one and so far washes well on a low temperature Alison. Inside out in the machine, dried quickly. Really soft to wear. Bargain price! Just hope it stays looking good for a while.

I bought 2 of M&S Air Yarn round necks .For £19.50 they are great, comfortable to wear too. They will ‘bobble’ but most mixed yarns do as well as 100% cashmere co have my razor at the ready & they will be OK.

I knit a lot of my jumpers and cardigans usually in acrylic yarn. The modern acrylic yarns are not like they used to be and don’t have that crunchy feel. It’s also a lot cheaper than pure wool which I can’t wear.

I did knit a jumper from alpaca a while ago, lovely to knit with but so hot to wear. I too have a short neck and if I wear a polo or high cowl neck I look like a tortoise poking its head out its shell!🐢.

Mm, interesting that Debbie Flint in the presentation I watched (briefly) had the neck ribbing turned over and anchored with her microphone.
