Yes, I bought an Air Yarn crew neck in M&S for £19.50 on Saturday. I cannot wear polo or mock neck jumpers, I have a short neck and feel like I am being strangled.£39 for an acrylic jumper???? No thanks. (£17.50 for basic jumpers in M and S, loads of nicer colours too imo)
Just had a look at the Air Yarn, I'd never come across it before and it looks really nice. Hopefully it washes well.Yes, I bought an Air Yarn crew neck in M&S for £19.50 on Saturday. I cannot wear polo or mock neck jumpers, I have a short neck and feel like I am being strangled.

I have one and so far washes well on a low temperature Alison. Inside out in the machine, dried quickly. Really soft to wear. Bargain price! Just hope it stays looking good for a while.Just had a look at the Air Yarn, I'd never come across it before and it looks really nice. Hopefully it washes well.
Mm, interesting that Debbie Flint in the presentation I watched (briefly) had the neck ribbing turned over and anchored with her microphone.I knit a lot of my jumpers and cardigans usually in acrylic yarn. The modern acrylic yarns are not like they used to be and don’t have that crunchy feel. It’s also a lot cheaper than pure wool which I can’t wear.
I did knit a jumper from alpaca a while ago, lovely to knit with but so hot to wear. I too have a short neck and if I wear a polo or high cowl neck I look like a tortoise poking its head out its shell!.
