My friend's SIL is a fireman and totally hates those plug in things. He states they are considered a fire hazard. People plug them in and leave them, all it takes is an electric spark and they are oil. The fire service would like to see them banned.

Interesting comment. Those kind of things have made me wonder in the past. You wouldn't leave a candle unattended so in a way that makes candles safer! There's nothing like a candle anyway!

See, it can be done. 37days. I haven't bought anything since 4th August which was the Judith Ripka heart charm ring which I was on waitlist for. So a litttle pat on the back for me and big slap on the back to Queenie.

Thanks Loveheart
have resisted quite a bit so am pleased I held out so long!!
got to be good again now, paid a whack off the credit card again this month so I am on a budget until pay day on the 25th Sept
on the plus side my credit card bill looks a lot healthier!!

God, i leave those things switched on all the time. They can get quite hot! Now all i want to do is get home and turn mine off!

I have done that in the past now I have mine on during the day and switch off when I go out or up to bed!
I like mine on a lot in the hall because thats where the dog hangs about and I dont want visitors to smell wet dog when they come in!

Better than Barbecued dog!

i didn't realise they were dangerous. Well, no more of those for me

I only burn my plug ins for a few hours, I find that they give enough aroma to take away any nasty smells and are overpowerful if left on too long
