i am out of the country right now and therefore have not seen these comments in chat.
| am not suprised that the trade are buying from us, i even just sold some gems to a manufacuturer here in Bangkok this evening! Our prices are the best on the planet i have always promised you that.
What i will not stand for is people abusing the chat. Whilst i am happy to take any feedback in the chat including negative feedback (its a great way for us to learn), i will not stand for competitors of mine using i as an advertising medium.
goodness knows how hard we have to try to promote ourselves.
I also assure you that nobody, but nobody gets prioreties on request. Scorpio let me know what it is you need by email [email protected] and i will sort it for you

I know who is being referred to and like most of you, that individual annoys the heck out of me! I know it seems weird saying that seeing as I spend tons of money too but I try not to monopolise the goods so that everyone stands a chance of getting what they want! I had to leave the site due to said touting for business, slagging off of gems and general bullishness of said person (i.e. aggressive bidding). I thought I was the only one who was irritated! I had to leave because I have a big mouth and could feel it opening to say something COMPLETELY inappropriate!
I tend to email my requests (which is why sometimes I will buy half a dozen items on the trot). Occasionally I will request something in chat. I hope I don't bark, treat Rocks as my own jewellery repository...

There is one trader who has been annoying me the last few days, continually putting requests in the chat, so glad it is not just me who is irritated by this.
That said I have not seen them advertise where they sell....maybe they have and I have missed it.
Someone tried to get them to say the other day but the admitted they were not allowed to advertise on the chat and Carol clocked this and she did reiterate that advertising in the chat wasn't allowed.

They did it today. All kinds of bad behaviour again today! I was so annoyed I left!
What has really irritated me is this person saying that the Songea rubies rocks.tv are selling now are poor quality and that they could provide better at a lower price too. They keep saying the rubies are more like garnets! To my untrained eyes, these are some of the clearest most lovely rubies I have seen and Rocks are justifiably proud of them.
Same thing happened with one of the new watches...."I can sell you better watches, cheaper." It simply isn't fair to the Bennetts. Ok, I can see the attraction for a trader to buy and sell on Rocks pieces and the amount this person has bought over the last week in particular must be good for business, but to comment negatively on other items and do a fair bit of self promotion is really pushing it.

This is what annoys me too. I have my own business (not selling jewellery!) and I know just what a slog it is to get established. Like the Bennetts, I am trying to expand and diversify a bit and it's hard, particularly in this day and age. This individual must know how difficult it is too, yet they persist with their comments. I wonder how they would feel if we all wondered into their shops and started behaving badly!
Like you I think their behaviour is extremely unfair to the Bennetts and to the Rocks team. They treat the place like it's their personal jewellery bank, there solely to meet their needs. They squeeze out other customers in the auctions. Now I realise that we are not going to form an orderly queue to buy our bling but the lack of manners and thoughtless comments are outrageous. The blatant 'let me buy it from you for tuppence and sell it for ten times that in one of my four shops where I sell far superior bling'. It's like they are saying they are slumming it when they come to Rocks! The shops are not the issue, it's the bad behaviour. I feel annoyed for the Bennetts and I leave because I feel that annoyed that I am not sure what I am going to say if I hang around.
I have so often heard this person say to anyone who has had the temerity to beat them to an item they wanted, " Want to make a quick profit?" It makes it all so sleazy and distasteful.
I, like you, sometimes have to disappear for fear of what I might say in chat. I'm not even logged in at the moment despite being at the computer.

I saw the comments about the watches, it was then that someone had tried to find out where they sell and Carol promptly said that the chat was not somewhere to advertise etc....

This afternoon, the individual was right naffed off that someone had outdone them on an auction, and asked them whether they wanted to 'make a quick profit' and sell the piece to them there and then!!!!!!!
It was really really really annoying!!!!
....on the plus side I guess if a trader is that desperate for the pieces then it confirms that we are REALLY getting amazing pieces at amazing prices!!! ...not that I ever doubted it of course!! lol!!!!
