Would it make you buy if Joan Collins wore similar - honest Q?

The guest presenter with Dale selling Susan Graver has just implied Joan Collins wears similar trousers on her balcony or something. Do real people really buy when a celeb has been mentioned. Honest question to the forum.

Possibly if you do like them, but not being a JC fan it does nothing for me in the slightest! :wonder:

I sometimes watch Jenny from together as she is a good yardstick for short plump shape. Her hair is her crowning glory so that IS something I might take notice of if she said she used a product.

I've seen Rita from Corrie wear some hideous QVC 'fashion' I didn't suddenly feel the need to rush and order any of it. I can't believe any 'celeb' would wear Q stuff unless they were freebies.

Absolutely not, there's nothing that made me turn over quicker when I shopped with QVC, than when they linked a sleb to an item, it actually made me laugh that they felt the need to sink so low.

If I were the same age as JC - mid 80's? I might, she always looks glam. Certainly not yet, I'm only 60 (that's the first time I've prefaced 60 with 'only' - must be getting used to it )

If I liked an item, I would buy it if it suited me when I tried it on. A zleb would put me off, however if I see someone wearing something and I liked the look of the item, I might go and check it out.

I like Joan but her clothes aren`t my taste at all and so I have to say seeing a celeb wearing QVC fashion wouldn`t encourage me to buy it. In fact quite the opposite, especially when I see Ingrid doing her Lady in the Van impression or Joanie drowning in sequins.

Couldn't agree more with these points! Who cares who wears it as it's the customer who ultimately has got to like and suit the item, nuff said!

I avoid anything that is 'endorsed' by a celebrity, no matter who or what it is. So that rules out a lot of things on QVC. And guests who name drop are another reason I change channels quickly.

I think it was Lesley Ebbets and she mentioned not only Joan seen wearing them but "her lovely sister Jackie ." They must be desperate to sell these things.
