Will Gowing's voice is high pitched and he whines. I usually switch him off quickly. I really dislike him giving advice on women's clothes. I doubt he has any expertise in this area. He spouts out phrases he's picked up randomly. Get him off!!

I watched a clip online of a product I was interested in and wondered if AY has been coaching him in the art of presenting. His voice was screechy and he kept interrupting the BA before she could finish her sentence.

I think he seems more excitable than he used to and his voice seems louder. Long gone are the dulcet tones that he used to have. He probably has had extra coaching from some of the “louder” presenters which I think is a shame.

At least they could have some knowledge of the items they are selling
Many of them come on air ill prepared and leave the details up to the BAs who sometimes don't have much of a clue either. There are exceptions, of course.

I agree with both. My favourite presenter. I keep forgetting about him until I catch him presenting an hour I've recorded. As soon as I see it's him I can stop fast-forwarding. No headache from screeching, no irritation as he's not rude to BAs and, as mentioned, he asks the right questions.

And I've noticed that he likes the well worn (and disliked) "loving it" phrase too. Just waiting for him to spout about all the loads of genders. I think he was better before he became a full time presenter, he was more softly spoken and likeable.
