We have a raspy shrieker on the aussie TV shopping channel that says she is a singer, too. She occasionally sings happy birthday or hums a tune in an unremarkable way. Her voice is chronically hoarse but she does all the voice overs and recorded phone messages for the company, so knows how to be professional. Just chooses to act like a market stall vendor.

If you're a professional singer, then your voice is your livelihood. Anyone who is a half-decent (rather than a 'Saturday night at the roughest dive bar in town' singer) would never screech and shriek like that.

Doesn't she do Sewing St too? And stands in on JM and dare I say HobbyMaker?

If it's the same one that used to be on Rocks & Co. then I could suggest a sewing project. Her mouth could have been utilised as an air-raid siren or ship's foghorn.

To be fair to Vicky Gordon, despite how crap and unprofessional she is as a presenter, she is a VERY VERY good singer.
