What do you think is the long term plans for the channel (and not closing down before someone says it):mysmilie_46:

Where are they aiming to be by Christmas and beyond.

I read on another forum they think this channel will aim for a late night slot on itv or c5 or something like that and maybe they will have to go down the roulette route.

They have obviously started at the bottom but what would you do and what would be your plans and timeline if you had opened this channel a few weeks ago.

I would definitely look at speaking to Sky or itv and have plans for more exciting games, I would try to bring in maybe Greg Scott or some of the old presenters from the late night quiz channels that people liked.

As if there are not already enough roulette channels on TV.

I can think of precisely two - Jackpot 24/7, and SuperCasino. They are both owned by the same company, and only the latter is on the Sky EPG as a separate channel.

I thought it was obvious, but apparently others aren't seeing it, and if they are, they aren't chatting about it yet. If you want to know what is going to happen in the future, always look back at the past. History has a habit of repeating itself. I have a feeling the mission of Lean Forward is to acquire some, if not all, of Ideal Shopping Direct.

The first signs are already out there... many ex Sit-Up presenters on both channels, repetitive items being shown over and over again with occasional re-wording to make it look like the item is on offer, the more prominent and successful channel gently being merged with the less successful channel - don't be at all surprised if in the not too distant future Ideal World and Create & Craft swap channel numbers on freeview, then there's the private equity owner, chasing debts before the sale or closure, and that's just the start of it. Does this all sound familiar? I suspect there is a link there somewhere between Lean-Forward and Ideal Shopping Direct, I just haven't worked out yet where that link is. (I guess they will be relieved to hear that) Plus there's the fact that Sit-Up tv were always going to launch an interactive gambling channel, but ended up launching an auction shopping channel instead.

Why would Lean Forward launch a gambling channel with so few staff when they have loads of studio space, loads of call center space, and loads of warehouse space. The past is the future, the future is the past. Shop at Ideal is on the way. Bid will return. A new name, a new game, the same old team.

Remember, I have mentioned on here in the past that there is plenty of history with that lot at Lean Forward, and when you start looking into it in depth, you will notice certain trends which they clearly have difficulty breaking away from. For example, I suspect the games on Win Cash Live have probably been designed and created by Two Way Media.

That post's a bit David Icke.

Lean Forward only has one other studio not in use (the old Price Drop studio has been let out), and they have been planning from the start to launch a second channel with some sort of interactive chat format.

Ideal World has gained lots of ex-Bid Shopping presenters because there were suddenly a lot of shopping channel presenters looking for work. Getting them on board means some fans coming along too.

I have been incredibly reasonable on this forum, and I don't come on here to spark debate or argument. If I make a mistake, whenever possible I do admit it, apologise and move on. That's what I am here to do tonight.

I now know that the software and website for Win Cash Live has been supplied by a company called OpenBet, I would therefore like to apologise if anyone felt my earlier post mentioning Two Way Media was unfair or in any way misleading.
