I don't know if I've been a mug, but I didn't know you had to download any other software to be able to play mov files on Vista.

I love the camera-pic quality is fab, but for now I'm going to have to watch on the camera's own little screen.:thinking2::sad:

(this is my first thread-be gentle with me:grin:)

it is pretty common with all cams, but didn't it arrive with a (software) cd to alert you to the fact?

Mov files are Quicktime I think.

You can get free players for the PC.

VLC Media Player is one I believe. Just checked and .mov does show up in the list when you go to open a file as I use it.

thanks folks-panic over, I can upload to youtube-so it's all fine.

I think I was just used to previous cams that haven't needed any 'messsing' about with :)
 
Just download Quicktime from Apple's website - you movies will look a lot better than they do on YouTube.
