Oh pleeez! They are horrendous.

I caught sight of the name and was in no way bamboozled into thinking that these were a new brand.

They are yet another incarnation of Attitudes by Renee.

They remind me of a late Aunt of mine. A lovely lady, and I do mean lady. She was a war bride who went to live in America after WW2.

Whenever she came over she used to wear these horrendous stretch slacks and I always used to think that in spite of the Americans behind ahead of us in most things, they really did need some lessons in what NOT to wear on their legs.

I have just seen a pair now at lunchtime and they were tight, short and puckered on the side seams.

I'm insulted quite frankly that they think we would buy these.

I totally agree, they're horrendous. Years ago they would have been called trews. Am I showing my age??

I've always called them 'slacks' & I love this kind of pull-on/ pull-up trouser, though saying that, I don't like Q's offering at all.
I favour pull-ons or side or back zip openings over fly openings any day because I think they give a flattering silhouette.

Stirrup trews, what awful things, except in riding boots. I used to wear them :bandit: and dressed my DD in them as a young girl  She has forgiven me, just! :mysmilie_847:

Don't get me wrong. I find nothing wrong with plain trousers and elasic waists are a Godsend.

I just think that the ones featured looked like those you would buy off a market stall. They were very cheap looking indeed.
