This for a perfume is one of my favourites, I often get compliments from people asking what it is. I have never tried the others so can only comment on Signature.

Yes, I bought a Tova set of I think 4 small bottles, or perfume wardrobe as we like to call it on Q, when I think it was a TSV. My goodness me, they were all absolutely horrific on me! Sadly they all seemed to have outstanding staying power 😂. Given how rhapsodic some of the reviews used to be for this range, and I mean people seemed obsessed with Tova perfume, I was simply amazed. It was just horrible and I chucked them all away because I didn’t feel I could lumber anyone else with them.

Was Scent of a Woman the one where we were told the BA and model were in a bar and smelt so wonderful that men were bowled over and sent them drinks? Or am I hallucinating again?
Yes it was Cordelia in the bar wearing Prai’s Scent of a Woman.

For a wonen in her 50s Debbie needs to wear longer dresses, I thought it was disgusting you could nearly see her undies. I have never liked Tova's fragrances, not the lady herself, however.
A very theatrical woman in many ways. The tight, short, sparkling clothes and the shoulder rolling, sinuous movements, all to demonstrate her utter femininity to match the late Tova's sophisticated, monied, persona. All a bit much. I give her a 6 out of 10 for her cheesy acting skills. If she was able to get a sell out, I think she was lucky. I wonder how much she earned for her performances.

My perfume choice has certainly changed over the years. The only one I’ve used on and off since a teenager is Youth Dew, however I’ve always used very sparingly.

These days my winter perfume is Shay & Blue’s Black Tulip. Summer ones alternate between Cotton flower, Sicilian Limes and Tallulah’s Camellia.

I’ve often asked someone what perfume they’re wearing, but it’s just as likely to be so I can avoid it, as so I can try it because I liked it.
Not a clue what Signature smells like.

I seem to attract pensioners wanting to know what I am wearing and where to buy it.

Oh, what is that, it's gorgeous. Once I was wearing a perfume called Morphine by X Ray, and asked about it. I was not telling a woman I was wearing Morphine!

The last perfume I bought was Diamond Jubilee by Grossmith, they are a very old English house and only found in very few outlets. I got a sample, fell madly in love with it. Tried to get it on eBay reduced, but no luck as only 500 bottles made, so had to buy at full price. I always want a deal if I can get it. Diamond Jubilee still going strong on me, but perhaps not to anyone not standing close to me for a good 8 hours.

The Chanel's are also powerhouses, my bottle of No 22 could take down low flying aircraft, so spray with caution.

My mum love Coty L'Amaint which was called the poor woman's Chanel No5*, I bought a bottle in Boots a few years back and ended up wearing so much I had to buy another one. A real cheap and cheerful perfume with class.

* If women could not afford a bottle of No5, they wore this one.

I can remember posts on here a good few years ago, where she was referred to as Debbie 'I'm wearing the size small'. :ROFLMAO:. Just ridiculous, because if you need a larger size/longer length or whatever, it just makes you look foolish not to dress so that your hemline isn't under your bust.

Yes I do the same, also with hair. We are all different I choose powdery type perfumes and I really like a good musk perfume. Definitely not into heavy perfumes instant headache!

She's bordering on mutton.

I wear Jovan Musk in the daytime but I use MB pink pepper when I go out or away. I’ve also got mini phials of different MB fragrances that were sold in a set a while ago. They’re useful to pop in my handbag if I want a top up.

I’ve had positive comments about all of them. The OH loves the pink pepper one when I wear that. It’s my favourite MB fragrance which probably explains why most of my stash is pink pepper in the bath/shower gel, the body lotion and the perfume. The rest of my stash comprises of black pepper, tobacco and other woody fragrances, plus a few of the other fragrances that they do.
