Actually I like those globes, but I want a proper quality brass and mahogany stand not that cheapo looking things they are selling.

I have a gemstone globe paperweight (I'm not kidding, this is the truth) We bought a set of 4 quite a while back now, and they came in the most beautiful presentation boxes. We gave 3 as pressies (and the recipients are still talking to us) I kept one, and have it on my desk and it is really beautiful. Keeps my papers in order and is nice to look at

nah ive always liked them i even seen them in Tk maxx a little while ago and they do look better in real life
