I'm exhausted. I have just had to join a whatsapp group for our flats which meant getting a gmail account, being told my iPad was too old, Amazon Fire didn't want to know and finally getting it on the mobile which is a Samsung. Haven't a clue how to use it and too tired now to find out, LOL!!!! Might not bother with the exercise break this afternoon now.

The Donald said he will have it sorted by Easter! Our NHS has been brought to its knees by governments of all sides but at least we do have it, I’m not sure how people in US without private health care or those who have but it’s very limited are going to get basic care and their numbers are far far more than UK but the cynic in me thinks he is looking at this as a form of natural extinction of the poor and vulnerable. However they will vote them all back in again so what can you say.

There is at least 1 person on Arsebook who beers asking ”WOT” is the xyz TSV and if I was in the same room I would kick them up the ****. The bliddy word is WHAT and a please wouldn’t go amiss but then I suppose one bad habit goes with the other.

That's my non virus rant of the day.

What a palaver, carrier pigeon would have been easier, if messy. Or maybe a drone.

But his voters are all in the vulnerable categories, demographically speaking. A bit short -sighted, perhaps?

On the news, it said WHO is saying if he does New York will have the biggest death toll over China and Italy.

Interesting one on digital spy forum, someone started a thread should shopping channels be shut down. The replies are no, but for some reason they are going on about Argos etc and not QVC, IW etc

My son wants me to set it up so I can speak to him in Sweden for free, but I have been put off by the "palaver". Now that I am stuck at home, I will give it a go.
I was reading in the paper that in Sweden everything is still open and they have a very relaxed attitude about dining out and socialising. Is that still the case because they must be about the only country in the world allowing, if not encouraging, free socialising?

I am off for my exercise break now. A fabulous walk around the streets of SW London with those glorious vistas! I never really go out just for a walk, it is always with a purpose.

I am back from my glorious walk round the streets of SW London including a bit of the Heath. Or over-grown bramble patch as it appeared to be growing into! Now the problem was I never go rambling so I have no rambling-friendly clothes although my depths of winter, snow on the ground boots at last got an outing. Hardly anyone was out though except mainly for dog walkers, and very little traffic on the main road. My shopping trip will be enough exercise tomorrow.

I don’t understand the post where someone appears to be appealing for something but I have no idea what it is they need. Shame they did not think before posting as it just might have achieved what they wanted.

Same here, Mazza. I walk a reasonable amount but it’s only usually to go somewhere, pop to the shops, etc. Or sometimes I deliver leaflets for the residents’ association. I usually get a bit bored just wandering ”aimlessly“ and start thinking of the things I should be doing back home. However, I’m quite enjoying this chance to go out for a bit of exercise as it feels like a purpose in itself. I really like the “contact” which is actually just eye contact but I make a point of smiling or sometimes say something. I’m also enjoying studying houses and gardens and noticing things I haven’t noticed before. A couple of the houses have the posters in windows which kids are doing: a drawing of a rainbow with the words “Everything will be ok (or “It will all be ok”). Everyone stops to look. I think it’s lovely.

I walked to the vet this morning to pick up her prescription. Lovely sunny day and the bees are out.

A few people out for a walk with dogs, one younger woman no dog did not even move to keep a distance from me. I had to step onto the road or we would have been a foot apart at most. I did say "Stupid bitch!" loudly.

😄 That’s so funny. So far I’ve found people respecting my space as I have theirs. Today, I went out late afternoon, got to the park gates and saw four couples in front all a few metres apart walking round the perimeter pathways so I joined the procession and it was almost like having company (not that I usually crave it). The daffs are out and it was lovely and fresh.

Just back from a stroll around the block. Didn't see anyone else, but a few cars and lots of cyclists, well 5. Two with youths right next to each other. It's nice to get out and look at your surroundings, see the flowers, etc. Quite chilly out now though. Every day I wake up and hope for good news. So far I have been disappointed, but that has to change doesn't it at some time?

I've been enjoying the weird phenomenon in West London of safely walking on the road to avoid other pedestrians.
I would imagine (my estate was built in the early 1930s) that it is currently even less busy than it would have been back when it was built.
Loving the chance to hear the birdsong clearly, and not breathing in exhaust fumes.
I'm still working full time, so walking at lunchtime to give me a break before I get back to the grindstone. Avoiding all forms of social media and TV at night as well as during the day.

Very wise, MML. And I’m making a point of telling people this on the phone before we start conversations (golden rules for healthy, friendly chat: no news stories (unless good news, obvs), no scare stories, no negativity. One friend can’t help himself, sadly, so I cut him short and change the subject!

You've got to - we've got weeks more of this, and spending it all stressed out and terrified is not good for any of us.

Exactly the same weirdness here, crossing a completely empty Putney Hill! And the birdsong was so loud on the heath. And of course no aircraft noise.

luckily the weather is lovely here atm....thankfully I have a teeny tiny garden to sit out in and get some rays! off to get some supplies later and see what's happening in the world outside my local streets. One of my daughters lives in Wimbledon so can't see her apart from FaceTime which makes me sad as she's pregnant and needs her mum  the other two rascals live locally so see them...cant wait for lockdown to be over with! I live next door to a musician so the whole street was out doing a NHS clapping salute... bless!

Well, the Donald has just had the sh*t hit his fan. More people infected than China and Italy put together. The cure he was talking about now proved to be from some quack doctor.
Did he not say that he (The Donald) knew as much as the medics about the virus and he could cure it on his own. In any other way of life a person like this would be sectioned.
