Is it just me... but when Annie the model comes on...

I instantly sing "Annie are you okay... are you okay Annie?"

We could even sing.... "you're not a size 16... but a 14... hehe, owwww"

Now, there is another model called Sabine I think and she's a voluptuous girl and more realistically a size 16/18
Stand Annie and Sabine side by side and I'm sure the difference would be obvious; with that said, I feel this tactic is misleading the viewer (again) hmmm, ASA maybe??
I watched a bit of fashion this afternoon, I thought Sarah was quite funny at times and showed she has a sense of humour but poor Elisa, she looked a fright in what she was wearing...........nothing but the best of bid fashion for her, poor girl!!

she has only looked good on bid plus were they are spending time putting the models in decent clothes

there was a show on there yesterday with lisa brash with jenny and annie modelling

the clothes were half decent (mondi mainly) and they had obviously spent more time making sure the models looked there best.

Infact you actually could imagine annie or jenny in some of the outfits.

The more i watch bid plus the more i think it will be the way forward for the channels.

Yes, I've watched it a few times and it seems more in the QVC/IW mould and they do a review at the end.

When the programmes are live the products do seem better and they even use item numbers and have a 20p per minute phone number, plus they were doing free delivery when an individual item or a total basket cost £50. However, when it isn't live (which is most of the time) it's the usual Sit Up tatt, rip off P+P and £1.53 phone number.

yes the not live stuff is awful as i mentioned the other day with charging more for the same stuff bid flog which is not on really

however the free p + p offers the general better quality of goods offered and the altogether more professional approach works really well

I guess they'd just say because she says she wears a size 12, it doesn't mean that she is a size 12! Though it seems obvious to all that she's nowhere near a size 16. However, what I've found a bit strange is what sizes are they putting the smaller girls in? The assistant Lianna looks no more than a size 8, yet she was forced to model some god awful maxi dress, she obviously wouldn't be seen dead in under normal circumstances, yes she did have a massive belt around it, probably preventing it from falling off, rather than for style. Now most of the clothes they sell are size 14 upwards, occasionally they start at 12, but rarely do you see a size 10 or below. Do you think they have special ones just for presentation purposes? 'Cause in reality the stuff would be hanging round the models in swathes!

If you notice, the likes of Liana never show the back of what they're wearing as they're clipped in to high heaven I would imagine.

I think they make out that Jenny is a size 16 so that if that sells out, buyers may go up a size to 18, which they have more of.

I saw her say she was a 12 last night and dirty Peter is very misleading to say she's a 16, when she very obviously isn't.

But what does he care?

I agree Momma, the assistant presenters are generally quite petite and the other day one of them turned to the side in one of the tops and you could see the bulldog clips holding it in at the back.............yes, you're right, I think they have to so that the garment doesn't fall to the floor!!

I was watching Liana yesterday. I'd agree that she's a size eight. I was waiting to see the bulldog clip at the back but she was quite careful not to turn round!

The sizing spiel is ludicrous. I don't know much about the sizing of Ladies clothing but I do know that Jenny Topp isn't the same size as Elisa, and she certainly isn't bigger!
