Why is it now ships or shipped instead of dispatched?
Who is delivering it, the Titanic?

Or even just a plain old 'sent'.Why is it now ships or shipped instead of dispatched?
I particularly dislike 'reaching out' and 'touching base'.It’s one of many Americanisms which grates on me when used by non US companies.
I think they must think it sounds more edgy
I haven't had anyone reach out and touch my base since the pandemic started.I particularly dislike 'reaching out' and 'touching base'.
I don’t like sold through. It’s nonsense. There was/is a dark haired presenter on IW who said ‘sold out and gone’. Can’t remember her name but she was quite fun and a mainstay. Sold out or gone is all we need.A. Keenen often says that an item has 'sold through.' Another Americanism ? Debbie Flint often uses the word 'tushie' which derives from an American/Yiddish word 'tuchus' i.e. buttocks.
Probably Loen Love she didn't care what she said.I don’t like sold through. It’s nonsense. There was/is a dark haired presenter on IW who said ‘sold out and gone’. Can’t remember her name but she was quite fun and a mainstay. Sold out or gone is all we need.

Yes, thank you. There was no side to her. Did she leave?
