Camouflage belongs in the army. Animal print, in blue or pink, belongs on the 'what not to wear' list. She's still trying to sell last year's jackets with the animal print lining.

I've never bought from her range but I did like watching her shows only with Jackie. Don't tune in to them now because you hear the same spiel over and over month after month.

She's talking to new customers who haven't heard the spiel. Boring if you've heard it before. I watch a bit of her two hour programs, but it seems to be the same old stuff.

Wasn't Ruth's dad in the army, or did I make that up? I never wear camouflage, why would you? I don't think it's fashionable at all. I find all Ruth's jumpers and blazers look far too long for most people, they'd be down near my knees.

Well it is a range that is popular on QVC.Most of the pieces are not to my taste but looking at what is on offer as a fashion range within the clothing market as a whole I still cannot see the attraction.I can only think that Ruth in her position as a presenter on main stream TV appeals to some people who perceive her as a trusty friend who is on their wavelength?
Better is available on the High St. with more style, quality and a lot cheaper.My opinion only! And why would they care as long as the money rolls in?

I can understand how people can relate to Ruth as a mature lady, under constant media scrutiny, who has body issues. The styles try to cover sensitive areas while trying to nod to fashion and old favourites from her youth. Like with most ranges you can find some good pieces for a reasonable price but a lot is over priced.

I'm responding to a post about the BA, Sam Owens, and her disturbing laughter. I think QVC bosses expect the presenters to keep the atmosphere light and happy and she is following their example by laughing at comments that are not really funny. Her laughter seems forced and I feel sorry for her.
