Warehouse clearance time again.........even harder to spend that credit window that started today and ends when the warehouse clearance does.

I suspect they are going to get in trouble, or at the very least get some terrible publicity over these 'credits'.

It's already started on review sites.

I have to say i'm very impressed with Ben Moseby. His selling skills (i.e. BS) have certainly improved with time but he has that one particular quality that Mason, MacDonald and Russell could only dream of.

He actually looks and sounds really honest.

We know how Mike loves to smell nice, remember his mantra, 'Look good, smell nice and smile'. We know he pays a small fortune for his smellies.

Well, Kiri has just said he smells of talcum powder :giggle: he looked hurt

Obviously we know it wasn't, it was that £78 a bottle stink he uses, the one which he never mentions the name of:Laugh:

I think I prefer Gollum in his whistle. For some strange reason he reminds me of the appalling Howard Griffiths in that hideous, tight fitting shirt.

Ok.... macdonald on bid, brash on price drop

WHICH DO I CHOOSE!!!!!!!!

That would have been a difficult choice Mr Tom and I hope you were able to decide. However, the choice is perhaps an even more difficult one tonight.

Brash or Simon? Sadly I see no evidence that either will have KINKADE

i chose macdonald because of the art promises. i wish i hadn't

* there was nothing that stood out about his art sales except..
* why say you are gonna sell it at 23:30 and then decide to sell a bracelet as you just sold a necklace and it "makes sense"
* you know what would be more shocking... if there was a bid shift where they didn't end up late or behind.

* i found the art sale boring purely because he is plausible that he might actually know even a tiny bit about art... plus he was already banging on about the next un-art related product.

I agree that Steve's Art sales don't have the preposterous comedic value of ex-Guggenheim Curator Ms Lisa Brash but to be totally frank I doubt much knowledge is required to sell ropey scrawls of Badgers or Cottages.

Just to let you know that Steve specialises in Cubism. Amongst his influences are Georges Braque, Henri Le Fauconnier and (of course) Pablo Picasso who I might add has also been influential in forming Lisa Brash's personal style and perspective.

i found it amazing that he kept going on about gayford and when it came to doing the paintings he was going on about the next products like the paintings were an afterthought

no quasi religious music also as its warehouse clearance.

I missed the prescence of brash "the bringer of paint"

Lisa Brash brings understanding, hope and most importantly a validity, maybe even an authenticity in her art message.

And her message is clear, to me at least.

SHOCK NEWS!

I have actually just heard James Russell clearly, and accurately, state the gram weight of a Noyyyner Carat Gold chain. Not 'a considerable amount of gold'. Not even 'look at how much gold' but actually the exact amount of gold, in grams. Amazing.

Sadly it went downhill after that. The next item was (according to the on screen graphic AND Bid website) a Rosa Benini Leather Patch Multi Zip Shopper. James highlighted the back of the bag and curiously said 'We're not talking about yer' patchwork panels we're talking great big, beautiful soft sumptious pieces of hide'.

James, I think the clue is in the name!

Imo James only mentioned the actual amount of gold as there was only about 5 pieces that went for £3 quid odd wasn't it? so no doubt hundreds missed out as the auction was over in about 5 seconds after lines opened yet I bet they still get stung for the call cost.

Indeed Mr M, the first couple of items were very cheap, very low quantity but then the high quantity, run of the mill items came along.

Steve sold a Karcher Window Vac for £9.99, I think he had 8 or 9. Good bargain for those who got it but as you say they will have more than made their money back on the callers who missed out.

I have nothing against bid making a profit, it is a business like any other

but you will never ever see qvc acting like they are losing money hand over fist on an item when they obviously are not...

That was quite eexxxxxxxxtrooooodinaryyyy watching Peter Simon force it in Marina's mouth, she had so much she couldn't talk, laugh or anything ***side camera***not for the first time***pull a funny face

I should point out it was some Christmas cake from the hamper deal of the day

How good a deal is this deal of the day?, yes you might have to go out and buy all 10 items and a basket but i'm sure it wouldn't cost £23.52 but for the convenience they have sold almost 1000 in 25 minutes

You have to love Peter he just called up for some giant light bulb lights and said to Marina what's the number, how long have you worked here pete? then got excited saying I've got it, Marina says did you press 1, oh is that 1? I've got it, I've got it
