Christ Gary Ashburn has certainly changed.....
A woeful collectibles show. Cheap and made in huge numbers items. Collectible 10000s seems like a grand oxymoron to me. At least old Harry used to bring some quirky and genuinely interesting items released in small numbers. This was like watching a decorating table at hospital car boot sale. The numbers they actually sold was probably the most collectible figure of the evening.

And we surrender ourselves to the Great God RattanView attachment 26388
Never seen so much rattan in all my life. I did begin to wonder if they were just mispronouncing ‘rotten’.
I think I said on the old forum that I was waiting for rattan contact lenses next.
And I bet they’d have found a way not to mention the word ‘scratchy’.

Will we see the return of the great 200,000 steps a day, Treadmill Jenny? Though in that size of studio they might struggle to get her in, let alone the three treadmills to go with her.

Just trying to guess what these worst performing former Ideal World products are they are selling? The sticky stuff? I don’t even remember seeing that on the channel. The bike? I thought they sold well.. The collagen stuff? Wasn’t that a different brand to what Ideal sold, or does that mean collagen products in general sold poorly? Greenworks? They’ve not sold that brand for years? Or again…does that mean mowers in generslare poor sellers? The H2O machine? I can imagine that not selling well..Those wretched shammy things from that terribly annoying Australian fellow?
I really hope none of them has David Ades’s number…😂

I remember him posting on here in the early 2000s, I’m sure. It’s a long time ago now (if you don’t believe time is an eternal now, that is) but I recall him being rather defensive to any criticism of his products - mops and sponges and plastic paint applicators in general, wasn’t it? Is he still going with these, I wonder?

Blimey…this show is hard going… Limited editions of 9995…Marvellous.
I hopped on to 748 (Virgin) back of 10pm and they were flogging these, the one on screen was something like £16.99 plus £3.99 p&p. Quick Goodle, found retailers flogging the same thing for £10.99 plus similar p&p.

Such great value ... not ;)

The stuff that she was showing appeared to be very mediocre, and not in the least collectible going by the numbers that they were allegedly producing. It intrigued me how those products got sanctioned by the companies owning the copyright for them, so uninspiring that they were. But I suppose you can't dispute what she was saying, can you?
