Should be alright if it’s not massively over its BB date. Usually if it smells ok it is ok. The oils / fragrances can break down over time, you can usually detect this by the smell being a bit off.

I usually buy mine from an independent wine merchant that’s about a mile away from me, who delivers it. I have used my Tesco’s club points to buy a bottle in the past but they’re don’t always stock it.

Saw the beginning of that. They said it was Pink Pepper but the stuff they had was a dark brown, thought it looked a bit odd. When I checked on the MB site it is clearly pink, must be old stock gone off.

It was like that last time it was on. It looked more like treacle. I’ve got a bottle of Pink Pepper that must be at least two years old and it’s still a lovely shade of pink and is clear. Either bought from QVC or MB direct.
