Once you have seen that type routine more than once it just strikes you as so ridiculous. People like Simon in mock incredulity when they say they’ve just found out on air the item is available over a longer period of instalments or at a lower price than they say they thought etc.. Guest horological ‘experts’ feigning indignation and shock at a lower price for a watch - as if it genuinely is some **** up pricing wise in the viewers’ favour. There’s one thing I’m pretty sure of in the few months I’ve been watching TJC output - the last they would ever do is let a product to air at too low a price. And the telling sight is, at the rare times you do see something that has been genuinely listed at the wrong price, how quickly it is removed from view.

Yeah it's maybe even more noticeable on TJC and Gemporia. The presenter is there with the expert. With almost every single item, when the expert says 'final price is £x' the presenter then looks surprised, amazed, shocked.

Every ... single ... item.

Sorry, if any viewers fall for this guff and they're of sound mind, they don't have much sympathy from me.
