Here we go…watch with huge RRP to be sold for £1300 less. Really…We’ve seen and we’ve heard it all before. They must think some still haven’t…I’d rather spend £449.99 on a Citizen Eco-Drive…

Although you wouldn't need to pay £450 for an equivelant quality Citizen watch, at £450 you're getting into Swiss made Swiss brand territory not Chinese made with a Swiss movement by a pretendy Swiss originating brand.

The RRPs fron Chritophe Duchamp watches are absolutely ridiculous, one of their watches is Swiss Made and is a direct copy of a Roamer watch (because it's made for Duchamp in the same factory) has a RRP of £1850, and the RRP for the Roamer watch it is an exact copy of is £450. That alone tells you all about the ethics of the Duchamp brand.

Mike with his usual ******** you don't get Swiss automatics for this kind of money, £749. Mike seems to forget the amount of Mathey-Tissot watches (especially the rollys) he sold on the old IW for less than £750.

And still the crap about Duchamp originating in Menrisio.

Turning off the ******** being spouted is just too much.

It can’t be too long until Simon Lies pops up. He will be getting withdrawal symptoms from not being on TV
They definitely need demos. I think it must be a health and safety issue. Perhaps the storage cupboard they're filming from isn't safe. but if they don't get proper demos people won't be interested. Even Create and Craft got some demos up and running and that set up was cobbled together.

Hayley and Shaun have posted a video on their FB page touting for employment, they must be desperate.
I just watched that. I have to say despite everything they are good at spouting whatever needs to be spouted. And while Shaun won't win any beauty contests, he is very slick. That being said it looks like some poor green screen fake presenting stuff they've thrown in there along with Ideal World stuff. I've helped some actors put together a show reel. They supplied me with footage and I edited it together. So I've done a few of these. They really need to register their own website and get email forwarders. Having a hotmail or outlook email doesn't look that professional. For a tenner they can register a domain name and (if it was namecheap) get free email forwarders. If you set up an email forwarder with 'catchall' you can have it look like 2 separate emails but they go into one inbox. If that makes sense.

What I don't understand, is according to the reports, they bought the assets including studio stuff, so why not use the studios in Peterborough (at least temporarily)? or rent studio space in London that caters for cooking. London is the media centre of the UK next to Manchester

Those premises are up for sale now, so no longer available for lease.

One of the presenters said the new studios are across the road, can see them from TJC, so maybe they've aquired space in one of the buildings beside their existing location, but would probale be too exspensive to rent somewhere temp on top of the cost for the new studio that is being prepared.

I didn’t think the Flatulent Four would get a gig at Ideal World Mark Whatever It Is. Ryan did apparently say he didn’t want to travel to London. But that doesn‘t necessarily mean he was offered anything. They seem to go for a certain type at the TJC. Relatively telegenic and the right side of 60 (other than Simon Peters) seems the norm. Crawley would fail on the former requirement and Robinson on the latter. Plus, Crawley and Super Great seem to come as a padlocked pair. So I guess that rules whatever her name is out, too. And if you do believe what Ryan said - he ruled himself out.

Also, they did themselves no favours whatsoever with their frequent and negative mentions of their former employer on Shop Extra. It just looks bitter and that view (however fair it might have been) doesn’t endear you to a new employer restarting your old name company. You do wonder, given that euphoric, back-slapping ‘We Don’t Need You Now‘ launch party, that they believed the thing wouldn’t be pulled so early as it was. Perhaps they should have taken a quieter and more dignified approach and not said anything about their previous workplace? Mason, kept his dignity and said nothing in the public arena as far as I’m aware. As did Simon. And I believe Jacks said she couldn’t say anything specific. Funnily enough, those three got the gigs with the new version and the other four didn’t.
