I had a close look on a QVC video and thought that she was older than this, given her expertise in skincare.

Marks do this now - at present £18 for 250ml and free bag if you spend £25

If you keep an eye out for the weeks they have 20% off and no postage and can buy single bottles, it may be a decent enough price.

Actually I have a £10 voucher in my bag at the moment - might have a look - would it be suitable for very sentisive skin (Liquid gold was a real no no for me)

I was interested in this to use just around my nose area. But was talked out of it saying it is really NOT for sensitive skin, such as rosacea suffers no matter what they say.

That is the regular price for the 250ml bottle.:) I am afraid I still haven't tried the Glow Tonic, but don't have problems with LG although I have sensitive skin. Maybe you can get a sample at M&S?

I have VERY sensitive skin and got a sample bottle in my M&S advent calendar......no issues using it at all for me.

I know it's not all about packaging it's what's inside that counts etc but the pixi packaging doesn't look very appealing to me.

Am I right in thinking the glow tonic is a toner? I have a bottle currently, but thinking of trying it once I'm ready to buy a new one. I have a combination skin, is this ok for me? Thanks.

Yes, Pixi Glow Tonic is a toner. It has glycolic acid in it, but at much lower levels than Liquid Gold... and has aloe in it so also moisturising:

Ingredients: Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, Glycolic Acid, Ammonium Glycolate, Glycerin, Glucose, Fructose, Sucrose, Urea, Dextrin, Alanine, Glutamic Acid, Hexyl Nicotinate, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Biotin, Polysorbate 20, Fragrance.

I think Liquid Gold is 10%. Pixi Glow Tonic is 5%.
I think that Liquid Gold is 5% and alcohol based as opposed to Instant Facial also 5% and non-alcohol based and is gentler, perhaps alike Pixi Glow (I haven't tried it but heard that it can be used daily and more than once like the Instant Facial).

Not sure where I got 10% for LG from, but you're right. I think you are correct that what makes it feel stronger is the alcohol.

Not been impressed by Pixi glow tonic , it hasn't done anything for my skin ☹️

:) . Yes, the Glow Tonic is to be used lika a toner twice a day after cleansing. In the presentation they say the aloe sort of "cushions" the glycolic and that the tonic isn't based on alcohol.
