As the title says - Peter Simon has made many, probably hundreds, of contradictions, and that's just with his life. Shall we see if we can get into triple digits?

1. He's been working "in whatever this is for" over 20 years? Neigh on 30 years? Over 30 years now? Just shy of 40 years?

2. The Vibrapower has helped him shift over 3 stone? 4 stone? Nearly 5 stone? Nearly 6 stone?

3. He lives alone, but also has a partner and our Josh.

Good luck of you get it!

My favourite Pedro contradiction is usually when there's a watch. It goes something like:

"This is a world exclusive. You're the first in the UK to see it, and you'll be the first in the UK to own it when it arrives to you in 3 to 5 working days. Viewer, this is going to sell out. We've been allocated such a limited quantity, okay, as these are not only sought after and in demand —Nick, Val, and the buying team here at IW have spent nearly 2 years trying to bring this to air…"

[ 3 mins later ]

"…this is priced to clear; these are clearance prices. There will be no more! I really do mean this: even if you don't want one, just buy it, okay. Just buy it. Not only as a wedding anniversary present, or a son or daughters graduation, okay. It is of such exquisite build, and inherent value that few of us could ill afford, okay, that you must insure it…"

"I don't know about you but if there's one thing I hate then it's the cold. So this fantastic ceramic heater....."

However, 6 months earlier....

"I don't know about you but if there's one thing I hate then it's the heat. So this fantastic electric fan....."
They are relying on the assumption that their audience has the attention span of a gnat and can't remember what they said half an hour ago, let alone 6 months ago!

World exclusive or otherwise, if it's priced to clear, it's far from being insurable. PtC implies, cheap. Imagine a IF diamond necklace in platinum, priced to clear? Highly doubtful. (That was an example).

Pete's given the Christophe WhatAChump watches the big build-up, so instead of the bamboo bedding they've suddenly brought on the watches, saying they've still got some left. Then the next minute he's saying there's only two left, and priced at £374.99 but on the Duchamp website they're at nearly £1,800? WhAAAt?? £374.99 seems like a take-on, let alone £1,800. Then he reads out a list of potential buyers' names and spends over ten minutes trying to flog TWO watches? It's surreal.

But hey, "they are recognisable with watches"... oh, that's a relief, I thought they were lavatory seats....

Do you remember when Tommy Cooper used to do a TV comedy sketch years ago, where he was dressed in army uniform - half of the uniform was that of a German soldier and the other half was a British soldier? Depending on which piece of dialogue he had, he would turn his body sideways on to the audience, showing either the British or the German side? Well, Pete has something similar: - half of his body hates the cold and the other half hates the heat. He is a medical phenomenon. Perhaps he needs his clothes made so that half his suit is shorts and a tee shirt and the other half is a fur coat and balaclava. All bases covered - simples!
