another 8 biscuits, a walk round the surgery and lots of cuddles with the nurses
oh and no poop. lol!
vet has just phoned to say louis has just done a very very very large poop. lol! poor lou, i'm embarrassed for him, putting it into print.
finally........the day 12 louis update. the feeding tube is out and he might be allowed home tomorrow depending on how he is overnight!!! i have to say i'm a little nervous and unless they're absolutely sure, i'd rather he stay in over the weekend. he's still only eating a few biscuits, no wet food yet. anyway, i'll be guided by the vet

i think there are a couple factors here - one, they think i'm bursting to get him home and also it's the weekend. they prefer to send their patients home because then they can get by with less staff. having said that, they have the best interests of the animal at heart, so if he needs to stay, he'll stay. the nurse i spoke to today said he's got them all wrapped round his little paw and is clearly enjoying having a whole team of slaves. apparently he gets really annoyed if they don't tend to his needs first - if they go to one of the other patients, he goes out of his way to get their attention. lol! she also said the same as the vet - that he thinks he's king and looks down his nose at all of them. that's my boy
Happy Days janie :clapping:
A quiet corner, cat bed or box will make him feel better I'm sure
