A lot depends on the weather if you're growing tomatoes outside (even if you do use flower power). Two years ago we had a lot of sun and I was overrun with tomatoes and gave away loads. Last year we had little to no sun and my tomatoes were woeful so feeding them didn't really help.

I do think Richard needs to get some new tricks. He's being doing the old tray of tomatoes for a hundred years.
