I still have all my Dreamkeeper beaded and fringed pieces - they never date, and can either look really glamorous or decidedly 'hippy'.

Generally there are various 'speakers' on cruises, and some can be interesting. I remember seeing Jane Russell a few years ago, and it was fascinating listening to her about her film career and her friendship with Marilyn Monroe. Another good one was Celia Imrie, just after the Exotic Marigold Hotel film came out. Eamonn Holmes is not exactly sprinkled with star dust - more like Hoover dust.
The American woman who is a guest when QVC sells diamonds or other precious gems works as a speaker on cruise ships. She is experienced in how gems are mined and how the rough stones are processed from the mine to the jewelry shop. I find her quite interesting, although she exaggerates the impact and the value that some of the very tiny diamonds have. I like her accent too. Is she from Texas? I've forgotten her name.

I did have a couple of pieces of KF but it wasn't that great. The Dreamkeeper things I had though were lovely and I sold them on at a profit eventually.

I hope you're all OK now SusieSue.

CC
I'm well thank you CC, I had a bit of a set back when my dog had to be put to sleep a couple of months ago but I have learned to recognise the signs and how to deal with it.

I regularly browse charity shops and I'm seeing more and more QVC brands hanging on the rails, Ruth, Nina Leonard, Marla, Basso, Centigrade etc some still with tags attached.

I guess they are donated by the families of deceased QVC customers who were possibly ordering out of loneliness or boredom.

I've yet to find any Dreamkeeper but I live in hopes!

Is it Laurie Wickwire ? If so, I think she lives & works in London. Yes I like her accent, very ‘soft’ with a tiny twang !
