Setting the background... I'm a bit distracted multi tasking, trying to watch a programme with one of my fav actresses, blah, blah, blah. But needed to look something up earlier on the presenters blog stuff.

Can't see a photo of Ali Young on the presenters blogs. It has also been reformatted. It's bugging me. I'll go and have a better look but thought one of you'd know what is going on.

I don't think they have one for Michael Perry. The "specialist" presenters are not shown. All the beauty stories are by behind the scenes people it seems.

Someone on the QVC Facebook over a week ago said they counted the number of times she said I am a qualified beauty expert in one show. I cannot remember the exact number they said, but it was well into double figures.

Sorry Shopps but as a 'shop assistant' for forty plus it feels like you use the term shop assistant in a derogatory way.

None of the QVC crew are fit to lick the boots of the staff in bricks and mortar stores, especially those who have worked throughout the Covid crisis, wearing facemasks all day on long shifts, and dealing with rude and abusive customers.

Approximately 424 shop assistants are assaulted every day.

I've been assaulted, threatened, sworn at.

Those over paid, freebie hungry individuals would not last a week it a proper shop where they would be expected to have good knowledge of the merchandise they sell, be courteous to everyone and offer proper advice.

Sales presenters they might be, tat pedlars they certainly are, shop assistants they most definitely are not.

Sorry SusieSue, you must’ve missed the comments I’ve made saying that for me it’s shop staff in supermarkets that are the unsung heroes who have to deal with hundreds, if not thousands of people a day, and in my opinion should be vaccinated first because without them we wouldn’t be able how eat or buy essential goods. I use the term “shop assistant” because to me they’re not a presenter and if I was to use the term I’d like to use for them, I’d be banned from STF.

Just for the record, I’ve worked in shops myself in the past and I’ve also said that I shouldn’t use the term “shop assistants” for QVC because that’s offensive to the real shop assistants, as I wouldn’t call the twelve hours a week QVC shop assistants do, work.
