How many of you bought the Vitamix that was all the rage several years ago? I bought the equivalent IW Blendtec back in the day and it was a lot more than the Ninja (about £400), but it's been a real workhorse and is still going strong, blending and chopping. I wouldn't buy one today, the prices for it are silly, but I don't need to change it.

Ahh, there's a blast from the past! Used to enjoy watching the brand ambassador on the Vitamix shows, but boy, was it a noisy machine!

I can do the same thing with the Ninja thing (can’t remember the actual name 🙄) that I bought a few years ago.

I bough one and it lasted 6 months before the motor died. No issues getting it replaced, but the second one died shortly after. QVC refunded my £400, never bothered after that, but it was good while it lasted.

Loud machine, loud presenter (Chloe) and loud BA (Gail). I bought a Ninja Chopper/blender years ago from QVC for £24. Still used most days and going strong. Not as big as this TSV but just the right size for me.
I bought one too, great little gadget for very little money. Use mine lots. Only Ninja I have. Can't watch Gail Samways massacring food.

Amother food wasting day with Gail.
I love cooking and really enjoy watching Gail. She’s a qualified chef and has worked in top restaurants in the UK and Europe. She used to own a delicatessen with James Martin. She’s also best friends with the woman who used to be on QVC selling Bare Minerals make up. She was a professional make up artist called SJ. Gail and SJ have been best friends since they were children.

Oh I used to like watching SJ. Had forgotten about her

I like watching Gail because she knows how to sling hash! (I know that she has limited time to show how the machines work and what she has cooked, so she doesn't have an easy job on QVC.) Maybe she worked in top kitchens across Europe, but in the role of kitchen assistant, more likely than chef, I would imagine. She's more of a large quantity cafeteria style cook imo.
