Nikki from Lola Rose

Nosy cow that I am, and I'm being blunt............... does Nikki wear a wig or top piece ? Only every time she appears on the tele, her fringe area is EXACTLY the same every time, never ruffled, never a hair out of place and always flat and cut very short to the same length. I would have thought that over the years it would have grown a bit, or the very least got a bit straggly ! It just doesn't look natural.

I know exactly what you mean Brissles and have thought the same - her hair never changes from one year to the next. Her hair has been discussed on here a few times and the general concensus of opinion is that she has a micro-fringe cut! But to get her hairstyle looking identical everytime she is on air - well I am beginning to wonder!LOL

I remember last year people said Judith Williams was wearing a wig. It was suggest she belonged to a strict Jewish sect and had to cover her hair. Then next thing she was on with normal hair. So that theory got kicked into touch.

Thinking about it, its not just the fringe that is strange to me - the whole hairstyle is odd and I would love to see what it looks like washed and just left to dry - would it be really long at the back and sides with a tiny tiny fringe at the front! Would love to know! Just to be clear, I like Nicky, its just that things like this intrigue me and I love these discussions on here about it! LOL

I find Nikki's fringe odd too. I so wish that the cameraman (or woman) would do a close up of it so I can get a better look. I can't understand why you would want a fringe that short - what's the point?

I'm so glad its not just me then.

Hair is generally what catches the eye first, but there are times when its the full attention of focus - like Tova's many hair styles, Jane Goody's swishy mane, Joy's high gloss wig, the weird style of Diane Gilman and her 'white patch', the immovable bob of the lady cook demonstrator, and of course the hair of Nikki - perhaps she has a picture in the loft where the hairstyle gets older !!!!!

Real or not, I find her fringe utterly hideous and bizarre. I've never seen anyone else with hair like that, anywhere. Thankfully... Sorry Nikki.

I have never watched a Lola Rose hour before but just HAD to have a look at what you are all talking about.
Wow boy she really must spend hours getting it looking like that, although why anyone would want to look like that is beyond me.
It reminds me of when my DD cut her own fringe when she was 3 or 4 and had to have it straightened out by the hair dresser, it took months for it to get back to a normal length.
As they say it takes all sorts.

Like I said earlier, apart from the style, its the very fact that she has been on QVC for around 10 years, and its never altered once !!!!!!

When i was about 2 my brother cut my hair and planted the scissors in my hand and for years my parents thought i had cut it myself until he confessed well into his 20's. My fringe resembled Nikkis!

She has in the past had the back cut shorter and not tied back as i remember chat on air a the time. I think in one of the trailers for lola rose has her with much longer hair so i dont think its a wig?

I have seen that trailer, I liked it long and loose, it suits her. You have to wonder how she can make it look identical year on year when she ties it back, and that fringe!. I could never get my hair looking the same from one month to the next I'm sure - not least because, like most women, I get bored with it and want to chop it or colour it or change it somehow!
Nikki always looks well groomed but I think it would make her look young and modern to let it flow ocassionally! (and just so that I can see what its like unfettered) LOL!

I am glad someone wrote in about this as I also have wondered for a while about her fringe. It looks likes its rolled to me perhaps to keep it out of her eyes. Surely no one would have it CUT that short on purpose. I quite like Nikky though she can be a bit too yummy mummyish at times. I do feel sorry for her at times because QVC really cock up with their descriptions and colours of her products and get things completely the wrong way round. I always enjoy Lola Rose shows although my bank account doesn't!!!

Not a good look on Nikki today I dont think (sorry Nikki) although I think it might be 2 millimetres longer this visit!

Sorry, but I stick to my original theory on this, - it has to be a wig/hairpiece. The top looks so flat and unreal, and there is no more to be said about the 'fringe', although I am of the opinion that when this 'fringe' is longer, she just pushes the hairpiece further forward, and when it appears shorter its because she has stuck the wig too far back on her head. sorted !

Maybe she's got it on back to front? Or sideways and it's meant to look like Phil Oakey?
