If it's her own hair- it looks silly.

If it is a wig, it looks silly.

My eyes seem drawn to her fringe rather than the product.

Maybe she is going for "right on", "quirky" or "different". Failing miserably...

I agree on all counts. Firing = just plain wrong.

I've always wondered about Nikki's fringe, but never been able to figure it out. Do you think any of the presenters or guests read these boards? Maybe Nikki will respond and settle the matter for us!

Hi all,
just to clear up this riveting hair mystery. I know Nikki (intimately...she's my aunt) and I can assure you, there is no wig. Her hair never looks radically different on QVC, because surprise surprise, when going on TV guests get their hair done. I'm sorry that you all think it looks 'hideous' and 'bizarre' - from my perspective... it's just hair. Nikki is the only person really who needs to be concerned with, and indeed needs to like her own hair. Because it's just hair.

And I can assure you it does sometimes look wet, messy, etc etc just like anyone else, but obviously not when she's going on TV for an hour.

Also I patted her head a couple of times before writing this, JUST to be 1000% sure that there is no dark hair conspiracy involving a secret wig which I haven't known about for the past 23 years.

Hi Jo

Sorry you feel you have had to post to stick up for your Aunt but well done for doing it.

I love both Nikki and Lola Rose and her quirky style and I'm sure there's loads of others on here who do as well.

I saw Nikki once in London and kicked myself for not saying hello and showing her that I was wearing Lola Rose, as I do most days, but can confirm that she looked lovely and her hair was exactly as it is on Tv and didn't appear to be any other than normal and natural. She comes over on Qvc as a very sweet person and extremely likeable.

Good post Jo. There is a lot of speculation about just about everything on this forum - it's the nature of the beast but most of it is harmless and there is a general feeling of goodwill towards Nikki I think. Hope you'll stick around and give us some of your qvc opinions!

Hi Jo
I had to laugh at your last paragraph. I read this post with some amusement, as it never occurred to me that it COULD be a hairpiece - there are also constant posts claiming Lee Hohbein (techie guest) wears a wig; again, it looks like his own hair to me! Nikki appears on screen as a very serene, understated and classy lady. I think the only relevant point here is : whose business is it anyway, if a presenter or guest wants to improve - in their view - their appearance by wearing a hairpiece?

I am glad Nikki's niece wrote in and put us all out of our miseries regarding her hair. However it still looks ridiculous!!!!!

Awww, Nikki can have her hair any style she pleases. It's not up to us to say, even if it was a wig. Haven't any of us bought/worn Ken Paves? I know I have. I think she's a very lovely person, whatever the hair.

On the products, I had never bought a Lola Rose product before because I thought they were a bit expensive, however, I bought a bracelet for my friend's 40th on EP and it was a very good quality, weighty item and the best thing about it is you can adjust the wrist size. So often bracelets are just far too big. My friend was so pleased with it so I would say you do get what you pay for and they are semi-precious stones, not glass/plastic. When you consider the cost of Kirk's Folly for instance it's not a bad deal.

A lovely, witty post. It's a pity that some people's idle (and rather pointless) speculation and gossip took it to the point when you felt you had to speak out. As you so rightly point out, it's only really for her to like or dislike. But, for what it's worth, I always like her hair and think it looks very pretty and arty and suits her. What's more important is that her very charming personality comes over really well on-air. And that's what's really important.
