I heard through the grapevine that Gems is to have a new presenter very soon - or should that be an old presenter? :thinking:

Good grief! Victoria Norris back at Gems?! I thought she was too high and mighty and up her own backside to go back to Gems. Can't stand the woman, won't be watching when she's on!

Well this WILL be interesting because I seem to recall a certain presenter called Norris slagging off all the competition and rubbishing gems she had previously bought when she was with GemsTV!

So I guess now she's going to rubbish Rocks and Co and tell us how everything she's now seeing at GemsTV is the best?

Sorry but this woman has absolutely NO credibility or likeability for that matter.

Salespeople - and that's precisely what presenters are - have to have credibility and the trust of their customers. This woman has conspired to con customers about the worth and value of gems whilst at Rocks and Co - so now that's all forgotton is it? I don't think so.

I'm very very very surprised that the Bennetts would stoop so low as to have her back - especially when she was instrumental in setting up Rocks and Co and in direct competition to them. So the competition has/is failing and she comes crawling back? Well it shows the loyalty of the Bennetts but not good business sense. Sorry.
 
Have to admit I don't like this new presenter, wasn't she originally on Rocks & Co? I switched over as soon as I saw her on Gems today - I really have to like a presenter to have the channel on, even if I'm doing something else and it's just background noise. I suppose that they won't mind as long as she manages to sell the jewellery but I never warmed to her. Just my opinion.
 
I absolutely agree Meesh, except I'm not so sure about the Bennetts' motive.

It's also interesting to note that with her arrival, we seem to have the return of "new member" coming in for nothing more than a jibe at posters. Hmmm! xxxxxxxxxxx

I haven't seen this lady presenting yet, but I can just about discern from your posts that it's not likely to be a joyous experience. I think I'll save it for when I'm feeling a mite stronger and my nerves are in better nick. At the moment I resemble Herbert Lom in character as Chief Inspector Dreyfus in the Pink Panther films, what with the twitching and urge to bring mayhem down on those who have disturbed my normal tranquility of mind. You shut yer clack, Argey!
Seems a rather odd decision on SB's part to bring back someone of apparent zero integrity, but then integrity of his salespeople seems rather low on his list of priorities right now, even lower than the pressing need for nail clippers and swarfega...

Yo - think heavily made up, lots of ****s on show, fake tan that would make Tango man blush, extremely arched eyebrows and lots of the things you like best, over-acting, oooohs and aaaaahs and constant "this is the best I've ever seen" malarky.
